Review: I preordered 3 iPhone 6s on 9/**/14. I was told that I would be notified when the phones were in and was given no other information other than that. I was notified that one of my phones was available and went in to the store to pick it up. After waiting approximately 40 minutes, I was given the phone and told that I would be required to purchase ancillary products (a screen, and also a case which I was not informed of at that moment). These charges added up to 79.98, although at the time of purchase, I was told that the charge was 39.99. I told the salesperson and [redacted] that I did not want these items, just the phone, and that I was never informed during my pre-order transaction that I would be required to purchased accessories for my phone. The [redacted]'s response was "I'm telling you now. If you don't take the accessories, you can wait two weeks for another phone". I explained that I, in fact, needed my phone that day (my old phone was not working properly) and that if forced to purchase the accessories, I would contact [redacted] and dispute the charge, which I did. In addition, the salesperson, without my permission, proceeded to open the phone case and put it on my phone. I did not ask her to do this. I asked her for the receipt and she told me it was in the bag. When I got home, I discovered that I was charged $39.99 for a screen protector and $39.99 for a phone case that was opened and installed by the salesperson. I am outraged that I was treated this way and gouged $80 for accessories I did not want in order to avoid having to wait another two weeks for a new phone. In addition, and again without my permission, the [redacted] cancelled the order for my two other phones that had not arrived yet, which will result in at least a month long delay for these phones. I received this news through an email from Verizon, not from the [redacted] himself. I have also lodged a compliant through Verizon and they are escalating the case.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the $79.78 wrongfully imposed upon me. I would be happy to return the unopened screen protector and the opened (by the store employee) phone case. I would like this business to be cited, or given any other reprimand within the powers of the Revdex.com.
