***, I completely agree the situation that arose was unfortunate, but I do need to correct you in what actually happenedYou came to us on 4/4/to have the screen replaced on your *** ** which we repaired same day within hoursYou picked the phone up and we both verified that the repair
was successful, as I do not believe you would have paid for something that wasn't fixedA week later you came back to us with an unrelated issue of the phone having some issues chargingI tried other batteries in front of you to rule out the possibility of the battery being badWe both determined the fault was in the charging port as this is a common issueYes you're correct normally this would be a $repair, but the fact that you had already repaired the screen a week earlier I sympathized with the situation and offered the discountYou DECLINED this discount and said I don't want to put any more money into this phoneYou then brought the phone elsewhere which they hastily took apartSomehow in a matter of 20mins you had driven to another store, them take it apart and arrived back at our shopYou showed the phone to one of the lead techs who was uninformed of the previous issues when you arrived back and after he disassembled the phone to inspect the device he noticed the following issues: unplugged coax cables, missing screws, and a ripped home button flex cableWe brought this to your attention and it was dismissed, almost the trip to the other shop was intentionalWe are still confused as to why you went somewhere else to have the device disassembled then come back to us (which voids the warranty) To be frank it seems as though this was done to "force" us to repair the deviceSo in conclusion I emphasize completely with this situation, but due to you having another shop disassemble the phone and intentionally rip the home button flexNot only did you still need a new charging port which could have been fixed for the discounted $45, but now you also needed a new screen which is attached to the home button flexWe do record with audio and video every transaction we have with a customer so that we are not falsely accused and forced to repair something that you admitted another shop took apart
