I started leaving you a voice message but I was cut offI’d like my complaint reopened I sent a message on 12/but have not heard anythingYou received a response from WASCO but there was no information on the cost of what they were proposingI’m very interested in finding out the cost of what they proposedPlease call me at [redacted] Thank you [redacted] ***

The mistake on the invoice was caught before I even received this message and a corrected invoice has already been sent

There will be no cost to you.

First I would like to apologize for the delays in installation. We have had one installer out for rotator cuff surgery and another missed a large amount of work due to a different medical condition. This has led to backlogs of around four weeks longer than we like to have."Replacement windows"...

and "insert" are synonyms in the trade. I am sorry that our salesperson did not make that clear. The difference between a replacement and a complete tear out of the original window is approximately 1" of glass and $400. The thicker frames of the new windows are required to meet energy and structural standards much more stringent than when your home was built, all while being able to tilt in for cleaning as the market demands. There are two things we can do for you. One is we can replace the casings (interior wood trim) with casings stained to match your windows. The match will be good. However, as the Renolit acrylic foil on the windows is made in a German factory and is always the same while the oak wood casings have natural differences in grain and darkness that will lead to some variation in final color. The second thing we can do is replace the picture windows with picture windows from our tilt & turn line. This will give approximately 1.5" more of glass. The man who came to your house wile technically an "owner" only owns a small minority fraction of the company and should have not represented himself as THE "owner". He has been counseled about this. Additionally, the salesperson will be counseled about using clear language in contracts.Best regards,[redacted], Jr.

Ladies and Gentlemen:The original installation crew made several mistakes. However, the installation manager has corrected them. We are sorry for the delay and have already offered a 40% discount, or $2280.00 instead of the $2700 asked for by Ms. [redacted]. As the windows retain their lifetime...

warranty this is more than fair.I have explained to Ms. [redacted] that it is normal for their to be water in the sills after rain. The water drain out through weep holes but there always will be some remaining due to surface tension. This remainder will cause no harm and will quickly evaporate. Technically speaking, the sill is on the outside of the window, which means it is to the exterior of the primary seal. Therefore this area is not completely air or water tight.Alternatively, we will return Ms. [redacted]'s deposit upon return of our windows after she has them replaced. We would expect that there be some signs of wear from installation/removal but we would expect the windows to be unbroken and usable.Ms. [redacted] is really better off accepting the windows for the 40% discount which amounts to windows with a lifetime warranty for far less than it costs to build and install them.Best regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:I paid the bill --I am tired of dealing with it.I would like to receive documentation of "lifetime warranty" - I have not received that yet.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint until I receive updated billing and full documentation of "lifetime warranty."To be clear: the water actually POOLS and does NOT drain. It's not a just a wee residual bit of water - it's a pool. The
only bill I have received thus far is for the entire balance. I have
not yet received a bill for $2020 (which would reflect the 40% off and
my previous down payment.)I have not received any detailed documentation about a lifetime warranty, so I can not assess the merits of that. Please send an updated bill and documentation of "lifetime warranty."PJ [redacted], B.A., M.S.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
