Wisconsin Copy & Business Eqpt

We worked with [redacted] out of the Madison location to purchase a postage meter and were totally, totally oversold. What we received via our three year contract is nothing at all like what we had been promised and now we are stuck with a contract from another vendor that they will not let us get out of without paying the full remaining contract amount. It is going to cost us an additional $1,376 for the remaining months that we will not be using the service for, and that does not include this month that we will not be using due to returning the postage meter as of today or the first month that we were charged for in which we didn't even have the meter installed!

I feel that due to the overselling of the product, the lack of information presented, and the lack of customer service regarding returning phone calls or emails by Shawn, that Wisconsin Copy really should take responsibility for the remaining payment amount as FP will simply not allow us to end the contract despite repeated attempts and complaints within the first 30 days. We would never have signed this contract if we hadn't been told explicitly that our needs would be met 100%, "no hidden fees" would be charged, and that a requirement for the delivery and installation date could be met with no issues whatsoever. We are extremely disappointed in Shawn's character and method of handling this issue, as well as with Wisconsin Copy for it's handling of the sale and it's neglect to accurately depict the circumstances of the contract.
