This is in response to the buyers latest response that we received on January 11, 2015.
Reference # ***I have included three letters in the attachment that show the buyer is incorrect in his complaintThe patio door issue was resolved well before closing. On June 18, 2014 there was a meeting between the listing broker, selling broker, the expediter from Wisconsin Homes and the buyer. (The listing brokers letter is attached explaining acceptance and sign off).
Regarding the issue with the electrical switched outlets in the bedrooms This is not an item that is normally included. None of our units have switched outlets in the bedroom nor did the buyer request it. See attached letter from electrician. After closing when the buyer brought this up , the buyer was given the option to have the outlets switched at a nominal cost but did not take the optionThe buyer stated that he never heard from our painter regarding the nick in the stair well, please see attached letter stating the he did attempt to call the buyer with no response. Also Wisconsin Homes did contact the buyer with the painters informationThe buyer contends he did not receive what he paid for, not only has he received everything he paid for but he has received items he did not pay for, such as counter top and cabinet in laundry room, extra shelving in the shower, extra wooden shelving in the pantry, sand finish throughout the unit instead of the finish provided. We also made several custom changes throughout the unit that we charged at our cost or less. For example the three solar tubes that were installed were a thousand more than the buyer was quoted and paid forThere also was a five thousand dollar discount as a special offer at the time the buyer put in his offer to purchase the property. This unit was not initially included in the special discount offer, but we made an exception at the request of the buyerWe feel the buyer has received more than he paid for and we are sad the buyer does not feel the same waySincerely,

I can not accept the response from Wisconsin Homes.   Clearly poor or non existent communication has led us to this point.   I do not claim Wisconsin Homes has not provided a very high quality product,  we are very satisfied with the end result. and we understand mistakes are made along the way in any construction project.  I personally have over 37 years experience in electrical distribution line construction and served as my own expeditor in the construction of our single family residence some 25 years ago.   Our contention is we did not receive what we paid for.   The initial offer to purchase included our funding in full, all upgrades, at the time change orders were accepted-pre closing.  We met that contract agreement which included the patio door stated in writing, in the change order.   Hardly an accommodation on the part of Wisconsin Homes but indeed an assumption on our part they would provide the product we paid for.  We were indeed charged the price quoted by Wisconsin Homes in the order to do work on the patio door for in the contract it clearly stated "Pella door".  Distortion of some facts mentioned in Mr. [redacted]'s response is also very concerning to us.    Gang box sizes in the bedrooms were roughed in to accommodate multiple switches.  Pole switches were installed, but no wire pulled to one switch in each bedroom, cover plates installed - we assumed everything is complete at the walk through- this is a builder error and misleading to the consumer, just as it would be if I ran a project to provide electrical distribution to a company and then not provide the final energization.   I am held accountable for that.   The shelving issue arose due to the real estate agency showing the model (at the time we were looking)that had wood shelves and we questioned the misleading of information after Wisconsin Homes accepted our offer to purchase. We were not communicated with as to how that was resolved as well as the cabinet issue mentioned in the utility room.  Nick(s) in the rail were marked with blue painter tape by one of Mr. [redacted]'s sub contractors PRIOR to carpet installation as he failed to accurately mention he kicked the carpet installer off the job initially due to poor communication between himself and his listing real estate agency.   We paid another site charge for the carpet installer and did not invoice Wisconsin Homes.  And no one has contacted us regarding the repair of the stairway railing and I can provide our voice message log and phone records for the last two months to verify that no one has contacted us to set up a time to repair the railing.  Apparently disagreeing with distorted facts is threatening or abusive to Wisconsin Homes.  We did make a mistake when identifying a potential smoke alarm problem.   Wisconsin Homes did not communicate back to us they were charged $150 for that.  As part of a final resolution to our issue with Wisconsin Homes should they pay all charges or make repairs for their mistakes in our initial complaint, I will reimburse them for our mistake.   I will continue to attempt to resolve all issues by communication-I encourage Wisconsin Homes to do the same for this issue will not go away by ignoring or refusing to communicate.
