[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Dear Revdex.com: Thank you for sending the message from ***, General Manager for Wisconsin Memorial Park In her note [redacted] states, "I know this family will be surprised, because they did not see this as an issue, because we gave them what they paid for." Just to clarify, this family DID have an issue with Wisconsin Memorial Park, so much so that they contacted me on several occasions about the distress they felt about the manner in which the transfer occurred However, I believe a refund of the $transfer fee will show goodwill on the part of Wisconsin Memorial Park The response made by Wisconsin Memorial Park regarding complaint ID [redacted] is acceptable to me.Thank you, Revdex.com[redacted] ***

Good afternoon, I am responding to ID [redacted].   I am the General Manager for Wisconsin Memorial Park. I personally spoke with the family that [redacted] sold her property to.   As soon as I heard of the possible problem, I worked with this family, and they were more than...

grateful.   I am sure you can understand, land changes over the course of years, trees grow etc…. The family [redacted] sold her property to on Craig’s List has the deed of the property they purchased from [redacted].  Even though he is not asking for anything, I will honor “her” request and refund him the transfer fee of $110.00.   (Please note that I can’t discuss this families information with [redacted],  because she has no relation to this family) The refund check will be cut today and mailed.   I know this family will be surprised, because they did not see this as an issue, because we gave them what they paid for.  I would be more than happy to provide you a copy of the check, if you would like. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at [redacted]. Best Regards, [redacted]

Review: My wife's Mother died in early August 2015. A 'nameplate" for the niche was ordered at that time with a flower urn to be attached. We were told that the nameplate is typically installed in about four weeks but it might take a little longer. She was cremated and placed in a "niche" in late August 2015. We have called several times [most recently April 6, 2016] to see if the "nameplate" has been installed. A return call this afternoon said that they have no idea where it is, why it was delayed, or when it would be installed. It is now well over seven months [almost eight] since ordering and paying for the complete burial service and NOTHING is being done! It has made my wife and I very apprehensive about our pre-paid burial at this park as our son lives out of town and would have even less opportunity to follow up on our directives regarding cremation/niche with this cemetary. A family/friends memorial is scheduled in three weeks. it would be embarrassing to us that nothing is being done to identify my wife's Mother's site..Desired Settlement: Complete the burial process by identifying where my wife's Mother's remains are located with the plazue/nameplate.

Review: My mother-in-law, BK, owned six plots at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Two of the plots contained the remains of family members. Since she moved to Florida, she decided she no longer needed the remaining four plots and asked that I help her dispose of them. I contacted "J" at WMP who told me graves 1 and 2 were occupied by my husband's grandparents and that BK owned graves 3-6. "J" also said that WMP could not purchase graves 3-6 from BK but that BK could sell them on her own. I advertised graves 3-6 on Craigslist and found a buyer, DF, who needed a plot promptly for his sister who was dying. He chose plot 3 for his sister. On the day of his sister's funeral, DF was told that plot 3 was already occupied by a stillborn infant (unknown to me and BK). BK and I were very embarrassed - it looked like maybe we had tried to sell a plot fraudulently. DF made calls to WMP asking for "J" who never returned his calls. He did speak to "JX" who told him that since the sale of the plots was private, nothing could be done. I contacted KC at WMP who told me "something could be done" for DF, but nothing was. He was distressed at the transfer of the plots and felt WMP should make amends. I think so too. At the very least his transfer fee of $110 should be refunded.Desired Settlement: An apology for the sloppy record-keeping (apparently two sets of records were kept, one obviously incomplete) and a refund of his transfer fee.

Review: My wife passed away last year. I arranged to share same grave site as her. I paid nearly $1000 for the right to be buried in the same site. The contract was cancelled. I am now being told this is non refundable, and Wisconsin Memorial keeps the money I paid. I was told it was like I bought a car and did not make payments. It is now being repossessed and they keep the money. I honestly did not know what to say.Desired Settlement: I simply want my money back.
