First, there is no doubt that we failed to communicate effectively with our customerQuality customer service is a foundation of our business plan.......we clearly missed the mark in this caseThis is especially frustrating for a first time home buyerI'm very sorry that prior communications sent
by our customer did not reach us. Obviously, I can't speak to the specifics of our customers qualification dataThis information is private and confidentialBased on that data, I do believe they were offered and closed on the correct mortgage productI'm confused as to the issue of refinancing raised by our customer and some of the cost implications included in their communicationI would be happy to discuss those issues with them at anytime. One conclusion I can come to is that we did not earn our processing fee associated with this transactionMuch of the communication I've read points out the frustration in dealing with multiple requests for the same documentationThis is an issue I have brought to our team for discussionHaving customers feel that their documentation is not being handled properly ( even if it is ) is unacceptableI have directed our Accounting Deptto refund that fee to our customer immediately.
