Upon further review of Mr***'s complaint I find many facts that are not correct or totally inaccurateAs General Manager of the dealership I feel that I need to state the facts and not have them be brought forward in a one sided point of view which so far that is all that has taken place.Mr
*** has contacted the dealership, the salesman that sold him the vehicle, my service director and myselfThis is all correctWhat is not being stated is that Mr*** lives in Ohio, purchased a Chevrolet Corvette that has a manufacturer vehicle warranty that has expired, did the entire transaction online with pictures and information and had the paperwork shipped to him to all be signed then the vehicle was transported to him where he then took possession of the carAt the time of purchase Mr*** was told of the inspection, told of the Lithia assured warranty program which this car falls under since there is no warranty from the manufacturer leftMr*** was advised on all of these thingsHe signed all documents stating his understandingAfter receiving his Corvette he then made calls to the dealership stating there were a few issues with the vehicleHe noted the headlight that had an issue, the issue with the motor that he found and some other issuesI called Mr *** personally and spent a great deal of time listening to the issues he had on a vehicle that was purchased in Texas and sold as an As Is car since the factory warranty was expiredI did the legwork and verified his car is covered under the Assured Limited used Vehicle warrantyI explained all this to Mr***I then proceeded to tell him that we would fix the headlight which we did, even though it was not covered and did pass the Texas inspection along with the fixing of his other mechanical issue under the assured warrantyWe agreed to have the warranty pay the bill for him as he lives in a totally different stateMr*** told me that he had taken the car to a mechanic and found the issue he is listing and some other things recommended to be repaired by that mechanicI told him at the time of our phone conversation that we did the inspection, it passed all requirements as an out of warranty used car and we would repair what the warranty would cover and the headlight he asked to have taken care ofI agreed to do all this in good faith to keep a customer happy and go above and beyond even though the vehicle was sold as is and doesn't require the dealership to do any repair especially since it is currently in another state and we have no opportunity to look it overOn this same phone call Mr*** then agreed that all we were doing to repair the vehicle and go above and beyond was fair and acceptable to himHe also told my service director the same and thanked us for doing these things for himNow we are given a complaint? As a dealer we try to take the best car of the customer as possible. When a vehicle is no longer in warranty, the customer explained to thoroughly about the car, signs all documents that the vehicle is sold and then after myself and my service director call, authorize repairs to be done in another state to help that very same customer that agreed it was more than fair and thanked us...then given a complaint? The information listed in Mr***'s complaint was not accurate along with the many holes that he has left outI look forward to hearing back the resolution on this and I hope the complete facts can now be all reviewed for an accurate decisionCustomer service is our prime objective here at our dealership Thank you,*** ***General Manager All American Chevrolet Midland *** ***

We are very sorry you are continuing to experience problems with your truckAs you requested, we have opened up a case with General MotorsWe will continue to work with you and GM to resolve problems with your vehicle. Best Regards, *** ***

Customer brought their vehicle in on 7/29/16 for vibration noises (suspension) and tire issue. We provided the customer with a free loaner vehicle while our technicians worked on her vehicle to resolve the customer concern.  Our service department replaced the tire (at no cost to customer) and...

inspected suspension for any and all issues concerning the handling of the vehicle. Everything was within manufactures specifications and no other problems discovered. All worked was performed at no charge to the customer. At the time of sale on 2/19/16, the vehicle was sold and delivered as a new vehicle. As a new vehicle, it has a 3 year 36 thousand mile manufacturer's warranty that covers mechanical failures and defects. However, it does not cover noise and vibration issues unless there is a failure of a covered component. Hopefully this clears up any misunderstanding. However, if customer wishes to contact me I will be happy to sit down with her and discuss her new car purchase and warranty coverage. Sincerely,  [redacted]Sales ManagerAll American [redacted] Midland.
