Unfortunately due to all the underlying issues found, I'm not purchasing the property but I am thankful, Phil saved me from a hefty problem longterm. James was highly professional and thorough in the inspection of my 1 year old home. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions, including questions that were not part of the actual inspection. He followed up with detailed written reports. We used the WiseHome Inspection Team twice, once for a New Home Construction Purchase (Walkthrough) and one year later for Home Warranty Inspection. Both times Inspector Michael M. conducted the home inspection. Overall we were very pleased with his thoroughness and His ability to identify and document defective items that required repairs. During the first inspection, Mr. M. identified over 50 items for the New Home Punch List that the Builder was required to correct. In the second inspection Mr. M. identified items that I submitted to the builder that will be covered under warranty. Without Mr. M. expertise, knowledge and experience, many of these items would have gone unnoticed and would not have been corrected or repaired. A big thanks goes out to the *** Inspection Team and specifically to Mr. M!

Wise home inspection did a fantastic job saving us potentially thousands of dollars on money pit property. A home inspection is just that its an inspection it's not possible to catch everything, a home inspection is just a snapshot of the overall condition of a property, all properties have issues even new homes. Wise a thorough job, on time, provided all the needed reports on time, easy to communicate with and schedule the inspections. Overall if we don't buy the property, Wise inspected we will secure their services again on the next one indeed that's how happy we are.

We bought our house in 2017 September. Had 2 inspections (because of the hurricane). Everything passed. February 2018 - I was cleaning the spare bathroom and my hand went into my sons tile (broke a hole). Put in a claim, we had a $2500 deductible so we came back with $0. That same day, our bedroom ceiling collapsed. Again, a $2500 deductable. Then August 2018, our living room ceiling collapsed. It ended up that it was a HVAC problem where the AC rusted through. We contacted the same inspector; he came out, collected a bucket of water (in the attic) and then pulled down a hugh plastic sheet that was covering the ceiling floor for drips until the owners sold the house. It was a pre-existing condition that we never were informed. We have a video of the collapsed roof as it happened and pictures. We had 7 weeks of no AC. Could not use our kitchen through this. We were dropped from our insurance company, had to pay out of pocket for AC and now more. Still paying. In our documents at closing, section J states "they have to disclose pre existing conditions that have to do with roof, AC, and a few other things". They never did. Again "the inspector should have caught this not just once he came out but the second time as well. Now we have actually noticed patch work all over and are more concern that there are more problems that were not disclosed. Our insurance did pay part of our claim but not everything. We feel the inspector, as well as the previous owners are liable. We contact the inspectors insurance company who stated "they would give us back what we paid to have our house inspected". BUT by law" if we can show negligence because he should have seen the sheet of plastic "IF" he checked the attic. We are out almost $30,000.

The most thorough home inspection agent I've ever come across. He spent over 3 hours inspecting our home. He found every little thing possible, making us secure in our home purchase. We paid for the very modest optional wind inspection fee and that saved us several hundred dollars per year on our home insurance. We would refer him to all of our friends and family and would definitely use him again.
