The "corporate" office in West Palm, is always the one to blame in the leasing officeAs a retired disabled veteran of the US Army, I asked if we could adopt a Husky when we moved in Vicky (the assistant manager) said that it would be fineAfter getting the dog two months later, they pulled a "restriction list" out of no where (and we asked for all of the pet policy crap before move in and that wasn't there) saying that Husky's were not allowedAfter asking for one month to get a note from the VA for a support dog (sense the VA is impossible to get into Behavior Health) they said, "NO you have days to get it"Sense I just moved down here I'm not even in the VA health clinic here in Orlando sense I just moved to Florida from Michigan after medically retiring from the Army in mid December
They also chose who they want to enforce the "dog polices" forThere are many residents that have dogs "not on the approved list" (which is little dogs only for the most part) and they have not done ANYTHING to enforce itThere are residents that have pitbulls and terriers in the community, which are on this mysterious list that has appeared out of oblivion, and both breads or mix of these breads are prohibited and they do not do anything to enforce it
The leasing office also does not enforce ANY of the quote, "term of agreement" in the lease with parking or littering in the communityIf you have an attached garage, you have to park one car in there and the other in your drivewayThey do nothing to enforce this and people park in the open spaces that are meant for those with detached garages and guests leaving ZERO parking for anyone elsePlus you get towed if you park in a driveway that is not yours (they enforce that)
Further more, they do not enforce or penalize those who smoke and throw their butts all over the grass and pavement areas, so if you have a dog good chance they will pick one up and eat it (nicotine kills dogs and cats by the way)They also do not maintain their units, our neighbor has black mold in his apartment and they refuse to do anything about itThe leasing office also does not fallow threw with maintenance, we had complained about our dryer being broken, hot water heater broken and many other issues throughout the apartment that they will not come fix

I am filing a complaint against this apartment complex for two reasonsThe first reason is the fact that they exercise, in my opinion, very poor customer service practicesFor instance, I filled out leasing paperwork on April 27, At that time I understood that there was a $?Administration Fee? and a $Application Fee, so I paid for bothAs well, when I left that day the manager, Dolly, stated she would call me that afternoonI never heard from her
Therefore, I left a voicemail with the office on April 29, inquiring about my application statusMy phone call was never returnedAs such, I again left a voicemail, the following Monday, May 2, It was not until May 5, that the office called me with the terms of my leaseThe second reason is that, after almost a week and a half of no contact, they stated I would have to pay months deposit, plus a prorated amount for May, to move in May 17, 2016, totaling $2,and some changeThis is absolutely

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT LIVE HERE Seriously, this place doesn't even deserve star I moved here because the apartments are spacious, clean, and decently priced However, the management and office staff here are completely useless I have never dealt with such incompetent and rude staff that are supposed to be providing "customer service." They don't enforce any of the rules that would make living here more pleasant, instead they focus on what will give them more money Not to mention our apartment was robbed within the first few months we lived here, so that tells you what the community is like Our lease is up on May 31st, so in April I was waiting to receive the form to return regarding a notice to vacate This paper never arrived so I planned on telling them in person when I paid my rent on May 2nd When I asked about the form/letter the lady (not sure her name, but she is the one who has her own office) said that it was delivered on April 15th I told her that I never received and asked for another copy When she handed me the copy the date at the top said May 15th but was crossed out in pen and April 15th was written in When I told her that I would not be renewing my lease she said that it was too late for a day notice and that I would have to pay the month to month rate for the entire month of June Also, instead of telling me what the rate was when I asked she wrote it on a sticky note and slapped it down on the paper in front of me I recently applied to move into *** Apartments, and when they reached out to Wisper Palms to have a landlord verification form signed they were met with the same awful customer service Every time the woman from *** (who was extremely kind and helpful) called Wisper Palms she was told that she would "receive it tomorrow" multiple days in a row The last time she called she was told that there was nothing they could do because it was sent to corporate to fill out, and when asked for corporate's contact information she was told that they don't give that information out It has now been a week and a half and these people have still not sent back the single form that needed to be signed For everyone on here saying that the people posting bad reviews are just whiney and entitled, you are wrong I have lived in numerous different apartment complexes and I understand that they aren't going to be perfect However, I do believe that if you are spending thousands of dollars to live somewhere then you at least deserve to be treated with some respect There are a ton of other apartments in this area that are similarly priced Don't waste a year of your life having to put up with these incompetent, rude, and lazy people that call themselves "managers."
