I am willing to meet with Ms [redacted] son, ***, on Tuesday the 30th between 10:and 11:at her residence I will be accompanied by my foreman, [redacted] [redacted] ***, who can set up a ladder and show Josh first hand the repairs/painting that has been done as well as explain how each repair was performed I will also bring a copy of the photos of which I have labeled each repair and another copy of the invoice which shows the sections of repairs we performed billed separately Hopefully, we can resolve this matter at the meeting!Thank you, [redacted] ***

I am writing in response to the claim submitted by Ms***...On November 25, 2014, Ms*** signed our contract to complete repairs and painting on her residence The work included three partsUpper Rear Flat Roof Active Leak Repairs Top Main Flat Roof Repairs (where chimney
exists) Right Side Masnard dormer shingle repairs The work was completed and invoiced on December 4, I have provided Ms*** pictures of before and after via email as well as printed pictures of which I labeled each completed repair on the pictures I have offered multiple times to have my foreman, *** StClair, meet onsite to show Ms*** in person, the repairs that have been performed and explain to her the proper way to install flashing stripped in with modified membrane (what she refers to as "black paint") There are multiple ways of proving the work has been completed and has been done correctly. On Wednesday, December 17, 2014, I informed Ms*** that Gary StClair is semi retired to Florida, that I am the acting manager of operations, and that I would be happy to meet her between 10:30-on Thursday Morning Our shop at ** ** *** is not a boarded up building and does still exist Due to major construction in the area, I have temporarily moved my office to my home off *** Avenue Ms*** was to call Thursday morning before she came over to discuss the job completedShe did not call I left her a message at 10:that I had an emergency at my home and would not be there, however, I would be happy to meet at the shop on *** or at her residenceMeeting on the jobsite is ideal so we may point out what was completed in person, however, Ms*** does not agree Response to desired settlement:AMs*** is fully responsible (financially) for a 3rd party inspection/explanation of repairs completed and we would like to have a representative present onsite during the 3rd party meeting to explain the work we completedI do not believe a 3rd party is necessary as we are more than willing to meet with Ms*** and show her the repairs have been completed She also was present at some point everyday that we worked there and talked to the repair men each time Most repairs are visible from the ground or from a window of her residence BThere is no warranty expressed or implied on the proposal/contract signed by Ms***, however, I have agreed to a year workmanship warranty and included that on my final invoice for her records We completed repairs to an existing roof only, not replacement The year manufacturer warranty for modified membrane roofing she refers to applies to roof replacement. CWe have been a family business for over years and plan to be in business for more years The workmanship warranty I gave will apply if repairs fail We have also experienced rain since the job was completed and leak was not apparent in residence after that rain.In closing, repairs and paint work has been completed in accordance to contract specifications I have provided proof and documentation for said repairs Our contract is payable upon completion and to date, December 19, 2014, we have not been paid I have attached the proposal/contract, invoice, and pictures of work {before and after} I have explained to Ms*** that when you hire a contractor you must have a little trust that they are the professionals and will complete your job according to their expertise We are a 3rd generation roofing contractor who has an A rating with the Revdex.comI did not achieve this accreditation by doing jobs incorrectly or having customers who were unhappy I would like to resolve this matter amicably and promptly Sincerely, *** *** ***Please Note: Attachment above (the last attachment) is before picturesThe other attached pictures are AFTER the work was completed The flashing has been stripped in with black modified membrane and what the customer refers to as "black paint"It is NOT black paintIt is smooth surface modified membraneIf you have any questions regarding photos please feel free to contact me at ***
