To Whom It May Concern:
In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint that was submitted on October 23, 2014 concerning our repo practices.
On Sept. 20, 2014, [redacted] and [redacted] purchased a [redacted], Vin#[redacted]. They paid $300.00 on Sept 20, 2014 even though...

they didn't have enough money on them that they needed Cardinal kept the deal back from the bank long enough for Mr. [redacted] to be able to pay $700.00 on Sept. 27, 2014 and $500.00 on Oct 4, 2014 and we were supposed to draft his account for both of these payments, however Mr. [redacted] failed to remit either of the payments and when we contacted him by phone he made several promises to come in and pay and help get his deal fixed and he broke every promise made.
We did place him out of repo on Oct 7, 2014 and sent an independent repo company to his address. Upon arrival the men were met at the door by Mr. [redacted]'s step father (owner of the house) and he threatened the men with a shotgun and then threatened me on the phone. He then stated that Mr. [redacted] never lived at the residence. The repo men went to [redacted]'s work place and discovered he doesn't work there.
The next day we received a tip, Mr. [redacted] was hiding the car about two (2) miles away from the address, so we had to hire another company to go get it quickly and they charged us $200.00 and found our car. The tow bill to get it from [redacted] back to [redacted] was $185.00.
There is no money to return even if we wanted to. Technically what Mr. [redacted] done was Theft by Deception which is a crime in Ohio and we should attempt to sue Mr. [redacted] for the balance of the money and the contract, but we are going to forgive the debt and that is all our company is willing to do. Mr_ [redacted] has no personal property in the vehicle and was given the opportunity to retrieve his belongings on site since this all occurred around 3 O'clock in the afternoon.
This is a false complaint and should be treated as such_ We are a good company and love our customers very much and appreciate their business and we respect each and every one of them and when they keep their promises, we work with them.
