W.I.T.S remodeling installed a metal roof for me on my mobile home. At the time it was summer and we had no complaints. Once raining session started the roof began to leak. We called Mr. [redacted] and left several voice messages about water coming in through the vents in both bathrooms. He did not seal the areas around the exhaust fans. Mr. [redacted] sent one of his helpers/workers to fix the problem. The problem was never fixed. Now we are faced with having water damage on the ceiling. When it rains we have to put buckets under where the water is coming in through the exhaust fans. I called him on 09/11/14 at 8:29 p.m., left a message and he still has not returned my call. We paid over $5,500.00(estimate) for this roof and it is not supposed to leak, if it were installed properly. This roof is not even two years old. The ceilings are both ruined and stained from the water damage. I am very disappointed that this business is not concerned that quality and satisfaction is a top priority with its customers. This business never gave me the warranty information for this product and labor.Product_Or_Service: Metal RoofingDesired SettlementI will get(3)estimates from other businesses of what it will cost to repair the roof and both ceilings of each bathrooms to be replaced. Contract states by line item, Cut off edge of shingles; overlay shingle roof with Black Metal Roof; Install Ridge cap, Rake Metal and Valley. TOTAL PRICE: $5,100.00. Job did not include nor stated in contract any interior drywall repairs. This complaint is over my 1 year labor warranty. Job was completed 2 years and 4 month ago. My complaint is not about fixing the interior walls, but about the damage from the roof leaking water continuously into my home. You stated that all of this was in the contract, but the contract was never shared with me. I will make sure to tell people that need remodeling, roofs, decks, or any other service that your business can supply to look elsewhere! I suggest that your business concern itself with the finished product and service and not just about the money.Final Business Response /[redacted]/Was contacted by homeowner shortly after job was performed as stated by homeowner we did go and as far as we knew resolved issue. Since that time homeowner has only contacted me once since 2012 which was on 9/11/2014. Contract was shared with homeowner; I have original contract that Ms.[redacted] signed and dated(4/11/2012). we cannot be responsible for neglect from homeowner. Our company has done many roof repairs do to weather. It cannot be known if this could be weather related. If this issue has been neglected for two years I believe I should have been contacted before 9/11/2014. I have not been contacted by homeowner in two years. I believe because this was an originally a insurance claim Ms. [redacted] does not want to involve her insurance company for this issue again. Previous interior damage was never addressed as needed per her original claim. She had us install metal roof on her home instead of a shingled roof and interior repairs as stated by in insurance claim.

Bad workmanship,Damaged gutters, Will not give me a receipt. Will not return calls.Gave the owner [redacted] a call to get a estimate on some work on my house, Do some outside trim work and some siding Give me about price, and agreed to let him do the work. Also agreed to let him do the work at a time he can work the job in. The agreement was I buy materials and paint and just pay his labor. He was to replace outside trim around 9 windows and and replace siding on 3 dormer and a few more siding and trim pieces . All 4 Pieces around window for $30.00 a window. and dormer just time it took. I order the materials on 05/15/2013, It was about a month later he started the work. They came out and worked maybe 3 half days or less. Bent my gutter, showed him that, His remark was they still work don't they. The window trim was 2 sides done, not all 4 Side agreed upon. missed some caulking , They were to do. Being he told me how must materials to order, I had a lot of trim left, because of not doing the job we agreed on. His crew came out not knowing what to do, They were asking me, That was his job to supervise this job. So he came out on the 3rd day of work and said he need so money, now the job was not completed, and I show him so them that need to be done. He said so far the bill was $1500.00. (By the way didn't have enough siding to complete the job.)I said I think that is a bit high, He didn't like that. But he said he would come back for $300.00 and do all the work. I understand I left him open to changer me, but I thought he would be fair on his price, which if you added all price for the window that was only $270.00 if he would have done the 4 sides. And 2 and a half dormers and couple of pieces of trim. So when I give him the 1500.00 for the uncompleted job. Even when I thought he over charged me. so when I give him the money and showed something's they missed, he tell his guys hurry up they had another job to go to. So he leaves doesn't give me a receipt and about 20 minutes late his guys leave. wok not completed. So I give him a call, it time me about 5 different times before he would answer. So I said him would he come out and meet with me about the problems. He said it cost his money to come out, so finely he said he would, when he get's caught up. will after about 3 months, I give him a call, no answer, left message that I need a itemize bill, gave him all information where to sent it or I would pick it up. I waited about a month nothing, so I did same thing again waited about a month nothing, So I text him the next time, same thing nothing. so that is why I'm where I'm at. I will never use him or recommended him to anyone. Desired SettlementReplace gutters they bended up, and do the caulking (on job they done) and give me a itemize receipt.Business Response /[redacted]/I have looked back into my records from last year and I do not have a contract for the listed individual. But I am 100% sure this is the company who came out and did the work. Company's name is W.I.T.'s Remodeling, Inc. Owner [redacted], He has a trailer with his logo in big letters on it. [redacted] came out twice to look at the job about the price, But if he can't remember. I have phone records where I called him and he called me. and the phone company is working on getting his voice mails. and I also had a 25 year old daughter who was here when his guys was doing the work.
