Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
My complaint was in regards to the lousy customer servicePoint blank we dealt with a bunch of liarsHowever, if we are stating facts, I was offered $for my truck because the sales manager "didn't want it back"My complaint was about the way we were treated at Witt FordI could have traded in my truck there but the customer service was absolutely terribleWhat a joke. I am writing this to warn others of the way Witt ford allows their management team to be so disrespectful and rude
Regards,
*** ***

On December 3, *** *** bought a Ford Ffor $22,855.00. She wanted to trade the vehicle in on November 11, and was offered the Fair Market Value of $19,for her trade. Sincerely,*** ***Business Development Manager*** ***BDC/Internet ManagerWitt

Carlson Brothers Incinstalled a new roof at *** *** *** *** April 15, Ms*** sent us an email in July that she had a leak The roof is no longer under warranty There is a year workmanship warranty However we were nice enough to set up an
appointment on July 26th, to see what was causing the leakRon C met the homeowner and he felt the leak was not coming from the roof and was coming from the siding He told the homeowner to call us the next time it is raining and he would bring his infrared camera to detect exactly where the leak is coming from Since then we have not received any emails or phone calls when it rained

Complaint: [redacted]The leak is not coming from the siding. When the roof was first installed it leaked in the same area as it is now .  When the roof was installed I did not have siding. So where was the leak coming from then. Poor workmanship. It leaked from the very beginning . My siding was I installed in 2008. This is an unexceptional answer . They did a poor job.
I am rejecting this response because:

Business Response to a Complaint Complaint ID#: [redacted] Company Name: Carlson Bros Inc. Company Contact: Douglas C Company Phone: [redacted] Company Email: [redacted] Person Who Sent the Complaint: Staff Member: Response: Once again we stated we would come out to see if the leak was coming from the roof or the siding. We told the homeowner to call us when it rained so we can see where the leak was coming from. To this date no one has called up to come out to observe the leak during rain. Also we were nice enough to offer to come out even though their warranty has expired. If they would like to schedule an appointment when it is raining we would be happy to come out and observe what is going on and give them an estimate for repairs if needed.

We chose to do business with this dealership due to the commercials and what seemed a fair/family business. We decided to purchase our Pontiac G6 from them. Once we got our vehicle home, we noticed the following things wrong with it.

1. Blinker switch doesn’t always turn off for left or right.

2. Trunk doesn’t release with the fob.

3. Remote start will act like it is starting the car but not fully engage the engine.

4. Hood support clip is missing.

5. Cruise control doesn’t always work. One time when it was working, the cruise was set then it disengaged by itself as if someone touched the brake.

6. Right headlight is loose. You can see it vibrate on the road.

7. Left front tire loses air

8. Brake lights. The person that informed me said it was like I was driving with them on then when I went to stop, then when I did apply the brakes, the lights came off. I watched in the mirror and did notice that after I applied the brakes, the lights did reflect on signs. When I took my foot off of the brake, the light went off but then about 30 seconds later, the brake lights came on when I was not touching the brakes.

9. Right front passenger window is leaking midway up the front side of the window.

We understand that we did purchase a USED vehicle but these are things that should have been caught in the 120 point inspection prior to the car being put on the lot for sale.

We contacted the dealership right away and a person from the dealership met us to pick up the vehicle and exchange with a rental (this was within the first week of owning the car). The dealership had the vehicle for a week then called to say that it was ready. I drove to Crivitz from Appleton to pick it up (our choice to deal with a dealership that far away). Everything seemed to be working perfectly. I got within 5 miles from home and the items listed in #8 happened all over again except this time, the lights would not shut off after the car was turned off and back on again.

I called the dealership (even though they were closed and I knew no one would be there) and left a message with Dan Witt. In my message, I stated that this was happening again and how disappointed and frustrated I was with the car and dealership.

The following morning, I called the Sales Rep that we dealt with and informed him that I was on my way to bring the car BACK to them in Crivitz to have this issue repaired AGAIN!

I was told that the Body Control Module failed again and that they would need to fix it along with GM. They had the car another week and a half.

Out of the first month of having the car, the dealership had it more than we did. We had it a total of a week and they had it just under 3 weeks total. This robbed us of the excitement of owning a "new car" and gave us nothing but sheer disappointment and frustration.

I asked them to see what they could do to turn this negative experience around for us. We were told that we would get a $100 gift card and that was it.

After having the car back (which was over the first month of owning it), we discovered that the horn didn't work. We called yet again to inform them of this. At that time we were told to use the $100 to get the horn repaired. I don't understand why WE should have to use the "money" that was supposed to be given to us to alleviate all the burden to fix this when it is a safety issue and should have been part of the 120 point inspection. But that is what we were told and they would not budge. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY BOOK!!

Also, when we FINALLY received the car fax (after asking for it repeatedly), it proved our suspicion of the car being in an accident true. When we purchased the car, it had a "black brow" on it. When we removed this (because we didn't like the appearance) it had a gouge that was poorly painted over.

I highly recommend steering clear of this dealership as they do not back up what they call "THE AMERICAN DREAM". This is experience is not what I call "AN AMERICAN DREAM". It's more like "THE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE".

Review: In 2013 I purchased a truck from Witt Ford with a few reservations, the truck had a 6.0 engine in it. [redacted], the sales manager assured me that at Witt Ford, they had made the modifications to the engine to correct previous issues. After negotiating a price, I purchased the truck. [redacted] had said when I decided to trade the truck in, to bring it back to Witt Ford and he "would take care of me". After 11 months, I decided it was time to downsize. I went to Witt Ford in attempts to trade my truck in because [redacted] previously said he would take care of me. When we were negotiating a trade in price, I had made it clear to him that he said he would give me a fair trade in value because that is where I bought the truck and his response, in anger, [redacted] blurted "it's a 6.0, I don't want it back". [redacted] had not stayed true to his word and he was very rude in doing so. He flat out lied to me and it was a very poor representation of Witt Ford. The sales personnel I had dealt with both times was amazing. She was so polite and knowledgeable but [redacted], the sales manager was awful. We wound up doing business elsewhere and I could not believe [redacted] flat out said he didn't want the truck back because it had a 6.0 when he knew this was a huge reservation for me purchasing the truck in the first place. He swore up and down that there were no problems with this 6.0. [redacted]'s behavior was completely unacceptable.Desired Settlement: People need to be aware of misrepresentation from Witt Ford. It is located in a small town and to behave and treat customers so poorly, especially from a management position is unacceptable.

On December 3, 2013 [redacted] bought a 2006 Ford F350 for $22,855.00. She wanted to trade the vehicle in on November 11, 2014 and was offered the Fair Market Value of $19,000 for her trade. Review: We purchased a beautiful Blue colored 2013 Ford Focus SE with 15,028 miles basically fully loaded from WITT Auto on Dec. 4, 2013. The "special" running at the time was $3000 Christmas Cash and a $500 Visa Gift Card. Now here's where the ridiculously POOR customer care started. I called when we were about 20 minutes down the road to our sales guy [redacted], told him "I think you forgot to give us our Visa Gift Car" he stated "Oh shoot, I will have them mail it to you tomorrow" which would be Thurs Dec. 5th, 2013. We waited and 4 days went by and still no card in the mail. I called the sales guy he said "I'm really sorry about that they said they mailed it out" several more days go by and still no card in the mail, called [redacted] again, he said he would call me back I was told no one was in the office to send it that it would go out "tomorrow". Long story short after making 4 phone calls to [redacted] our sales guy and even talking with [redacted] the Finance guy both saying the gift card was mailed out at least a half dozen times, I was then told they took it upon themselves to use the $500 Visa Gift Card towards my loan. First off, who are you to make MY financial decisions, secondly, why was I not told this? Instead we were lied to REPEATEDLY!!!! Finally get it in the mail. Then 3 weeks into our car we had mechanical issues after looking into this no wonder I never got the carfax that was asked for. We found out that 1. It used to be a rental car and 2. It was involved in an accident that cost just under $7500 to repair. I then started investigating myself into this. Federal Law states a dealership MUST disclose to the buyer if the car was used as a rental. Nor did they tell us of the significant accident our car had been in. Not to mention the window sticker was marked the car was used for "Personal Use" not rental use which does have a spot to check. They did not disclose this to us. So now they committed Dealership Fraud (words from WI DOT) by not disclosing to me it was a rental car AND Fraudulently marking "Personal Use" on the window sticker. Had they told us we NEVER would have bought that car NEVER!!!! During my talks back and forth with dealership in trying to resolve this myself I was getting no where, I told them they need to find me a car "comparable" to the one I purchased. I looked around for about a month for a REASON. I could have purchased one in Appleton where we approved for a vehicle already but I liked the COLOR, LEATHER SEATS, ALLOY WHEELS the most on the one at WITT which is why we drove the hour and half to go there. So talked to [redacted] the Gen. Manager of Sales who told me they had a gray colored one with over 3000 more in miles on it then mine and let's not forget the gross color. Color is important to me, why do you think I went there and shopped around? If I'm the one paying $20 grand for a car I'm going to get what I want. Not WITT Auto, ME. I told him no way I cannot and will not have a gray car, I hate the color and will not live with or pay for a car that I can't stand to look at. So he comes back with a white car with over 12,000 more miles then the one I purchased. For the grey car they would reimburse me $200 for the more than 3000 miles on it then I had on my car....NO THANK YOU! For the white car that had more than 12,000 more miles then mine that I purchased they would give me $600..HA HA HA what a joke. That is a year worth of warranty and driving and they said $600. PLEASE I AM NOT STUPID! I told them absolutely not during this time [redacted] GM for Sales kept telling me "You have to work with us" WHY? I didn't LIE to myself and withhold important information about the car, I did not mark the paper work wrong to sell the car, so why do I have to work with YOU? Then GM of Sales was off on Thurs. so [redacted] in Finance was to keep looking during conversations with him he stated to me "Look, let's be honest we helped you get a car even with your credit so you should be happy" OK STOP!!!! IF your company don't want to work with "My Credit" then don't, also DON'T ADVERTISE NO CREDIT, BAD CREDIT, GUARANTEED APPROVAL" cause that's FALSE ADVERTISING! If you didn't want to work with "My Credit" then you shouldn't have sold us the car. So I am supposed to be happy we are being jerked around and LIED TOO CONSISTANTLY! Just cause I don't have the best credit DOES NOT MAKE ME ANY LESS OF A PERSON. And let's not forget if it wasn't for people like me with credit "like mine" then you wouldn't keep getting a pay check!!!! At this point after continually being lied to and treated like I was a NO BODY I filed a comlaint with the WI DOT and [redacted] and Investigator became involved. I appreciate his help but I honestly don't feel I as the customer was taken into consideration. He contacted me the next day and said there are 2 options for you. 1. A 2014 (year newer no miles, no rental car, and no accidents) BUT get this....NO LEATHER, NO POWER SEATS, SILVER IN COLOR, HATCHBACK (WHICH I SAID I WOULD DO) AND LOOKED SMALLER TO ME. OH LETS NOT FORGET MORE MONEY (So the dealership is making out in this deal that they caused) Here is where my issue lies, they act like I should be happy with that. Why because it's brand new. I never asked for BRAND NEW, I did request pics of this car because I went on their site and searched by price and noticed in came in the color that drove me to their dealership, I honestly didn't look at anything else. I asked for pics to see if it had what my car did. 2. Take my trade in back. REALLY? THAT'S ALL YOU GOT? So their commercials 100% Customer Satisfaction.....BULL!!!!! Also let's add more to their lies. I put a $500 down payment I returned the car took mine back when I said am I getting that back my sales guy text me back and I quote "That $500 is what we take to give the $500 gift card" OH WAIT I THOUGHT THEY WERE FREE. That's what the commercial said. So they gift card you get YOU PAY FOR IT. IT'S NOT FREE! They basically make you give a $500 down payment and purchase the gift card for you and make it look like they gave it to you. YOU BOUGHT IT!!!!!! So my car buying experience made me sick....LITERALLY! I lost sleep for days trying to get this resolved I would literally get sick and vomit I was so upset over this whole experience and DISGUSTED with the way I was treated. I called and left a message for [redacted] the owner NEVER got a call from him NEVER ONCE. I even to him on his voicemail that the Investigator for the WI DOT suggested I call you and he still NEVER CALLED ME. NICE! I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT I THINK WE KNOW THE TYPE OF BUSINESS THIS IS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER THEY CARE ABOUT THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR. AND THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER TO GET IT AND THEY DO. AFTER READING THE OTHER Revdex.com COMPLAINTS YOU CAN BET YOURSELF I WILL RESEARCH THE NEXT DEALERSHIP I BUY FROM. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST THESE PEOPLE TO ANYONE. This just came to mind also, this must be "normal practice" for them when it came time for our "phone interview" with the financial institution that was funding us Tony Finance guy told us we had to say to them I told them we were not comfortable with lying to them he said "If you don't they will make you bring the car back and won't finance to you" so is this normal for the company telling you to lie to their lenders? This should show you they type of business they are running!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Needless to say I had been thru H[redacted] and back with this company so there should be compensation for their ridiculous business practices and lack of customer care. If not then I want my down payment back I was told I put the down payment down for our "FREE" GIFT CARD....if it's free why did I pay for it? The crap they put my family through was un called for, the treatment they gave me through this process was disgusting, and the fact their paperwork was "altered" for a sale and legal information withheld....well trust me this is minor compared to what they should give us.

I also want a call from Pat Witt himself explaining to me why he felt this was ok for his staff to treat us this way, talk to me in the manner they did, and a reason on why he felt the need to not return any of my voicemails even when I stated on the voicemails that the Investigator told me to call him to resolve the issues. When there is a problem with your company to this degree putting your "faulty employees" back in the mix to repair something that I was getting no where with them to begin with I feel shows me without a doubt ME as a customer means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to him or his company. I am livid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
