My complaint with City Wide Communications has been resolved.

[redacted] knows City Wide never had his bank account number and never attempted to withdraw funds from his bank account, the previous owners of [redacted] attempted to withdraw funds from [redacted]'s bank account and he knows that but he feels...

since City Wide now owns [redacted] that we should pay for someone else's mistake which we had no involvement with.
Here are the details.
Nov 24, 2015 - 12:22PM [redacted] first called into our office and said he received our welcome email yesterday and asked about other services we offer.
Dec 1, 2015 - 9:18AM [redacted] called in and said he changed his bank account info with [redacted] last month from [redacted] to [redacted] and "they" still took money from the [redacted] account and it bounced and now he has a $** NSF. He said he is concerned his internet will get cut off, we advised him no as we haven't even sent him an invoice yet and that wasn't us, he said he knows that as he said it was [redacted] but still concerned his internet would be turned off, we assured him it won't be turned off.
Dec 2, 2015 - City Wide billing systems emails [redacted] his first invoice for $[redacted]
Dec 3, 2015 - 11:AM - We recvieve [redacted]s payment of $[redacted] (short [redacted]) via online banking. This means he added City Wide to his online banking bill payments and "sent" a payment to City Wide on Dec 2nd which we received on Dec 3rd.
Dec 8, 2015 - 3:36PM - [redacted] called in and said that he is going to do online banking each month instead of EFT - we said that's fine as you actually already did that for Dec 2nd and you never gave us any bank account info anyway so you're not setup on EFT with us.
Dec 11, 2015 - 9:13AM - [redacted] called in and said $[redacted] was debited from his [redacted] bank account last night. We told him that wasn't us as we don't have your bank account info and we never set you up on EFT and we don't even charge $[redacted] a month, we charge $[redacted]so that must have been the previous owners that did that. He said he was charged another $** NSF. We told him we would notify the previous owners.
Dec 11, 2015 - 11:25AM - I email the previous owners telling them about this and asking them to call [redacted] as City Wide has nothing to do with taking those payments out of his account.
Dec 16, 2015 - 12:52PM - [redacted] calls in and explains everything again to another one of our CSR's. Stating Nov 30th $[redacted] tried to withdraw funds from his [redacted] which caused $** NSF and that bank account number is not valid, and on Dec 9th $[redacted] was tried by [redacted] from his [redacted] account which caused another $** NSF. A ticket was created for me to call [redacted].
Dec 16, 2015 - 7:22PM - I called [redacted] and left a message on his voicemail for a return phone call.
Dec 24, 2015 - 10:18AM - [redacted] called in and I spoke with him. I explained that City Wide never had your bank account info so it would be impossible for City Wide to take money out of your bank account. He admits that he never gave City Wide his bank account info and knows the Nov 30th attempt was done by [redacted] but thinks the Dec 9th attempt to withdraw funds from his new [redacted] account was done by City Wide. I told him how can we do that when we don't even have your bank account number? He said to me that when he made his Dec 2nd $[redacted] online banking bill payment that [redacted] must have given us his bank account number and that is how we know his new [redacted] bank account number. I explained to him that is not true - that's not how online banking works, [redacted] does not tell the companies you make online payments to your personal Savings or Chequing bank account number. On our bank report they tell us your name, the date and time you made the payment and the reference number - they do not give us your personal bank account number. He doesn't believe me. Could you imagine if the banks gave out customers bank account numbers to all the companies they pay their bills to? I said to [redacted] I can give you the telephone number of the previous [redacted] owners and they are good people and I'm sure they will tell you it was a mistake and cover your NSF fee's but City Wide is not paying for someone else's mistake, he hung up the phone. Why did he hang up the phone? Because he knows and admits he never gave us his bank account number and that it makes sense that the banks just don't give out customers bank account numbers and that the only people he gave his account number to was the previous owners of [redacted] and not City Wide.
Even in [redacted]s Revdex.com complaint he states in the first week of November he called "[redacted]" and gave them his new bank account info. He never gave City Wide his bank account info and City Wide never had him setup on EFT and City Wide never attempted to take money out of his bank account - he already paid his Dec 2nd City Wide invoice via online banking - there was no outstanding invoice for us to take money out on Dec 9th like he claims! Ask [redacted] what the name is beside the $[redacted] attempt from his bank account says - it's [redacted] and not City Wide, City Wide does not even own a bank account with the name [redacted] and we don't even charge $[redacted], we charge $[redacted]a month. He spoke with 3 different CSR's at City Wide and got the same answer each time - we don't have your bank account number on file and you never gave it to us.
[redacted] knows City Wide never attempted to take money from his bank account and even states in his Revdex.com complaint he is going to keep us as his internet provider but considering alternatives - why would you stay with City Wide if you really thought we tried to take the money out of your account 2 times and caused 2 NSF's? Because you know it wasn't City Wide that did that and that it was [redacted] the previous owners. I strongly urge you to change ISP's before your next due date if you think it was City Wide that attempted those 2 EFT withdrawals. To this day City Wide doesn't know or have your bank account number.

citywide tried to take payment from old bank acct after they purchased [redacted] . then tried to take payment from new acct after I paid on line .they insisted that they did not have new acct info . if this is true how did they access new acct . I made arrangements to pay online from now on .
they are not honest and can keep the money if
they are not in a financial position to treat customers with respect . I am sure that I am not the only customer who has had problems .I consider this closed and have already paid the [redacted] dollars on both accounts . I am a low income senior and have problems walking ,the internet is how I keep in touch with family . apparently customer service and honesty have not been learned yet. I thank Revdex.com for their trouble .
