THE CHARGES AGAINST WIZARD'S HEARTH & HOME, INC.ARE TOTALLY MISCONSTRUED AND UNTRUE.THIS MATTER HAS BEEN TAKEN UP BY THE MANUFACTURER PER PAULA MULLEN AT QUADRA-FIRE.WE DID TRY TO WALK THE CUSTOMER THRU START UP ON THE PHONE AND SHE WAS NOT BY THE STOVEWE ASKED HER TO CALL US WHEN SHE WAS BY
THE STOVE SO WE COULD SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND TAKE THE APPROPRIATE PARTS TO HER HOME, BUT SHE NEVER CALLED US BACK TO DO THATNO MONEY IS BEING REFUNDED FOR ANYTHING.THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF THIS MATTER

I originally called the company about months ago for a chimney sweep and wood stove cleaning They came out, but their ladder wasn't tall enough We rescheduled and the second time they came, their ladder was AGAIN, not tall enough The third time they came out, I wasn't around and I left the key in a lock box on the front doorI was promised by the owner, ***, that he would be the ONLY one with the lock box information, and he promised he would be the only one to come out to do the service He liedhe sent an employee out, who had trouble with the lockbox and instead of letting me know, left our home unlocked for over hours! The owners were very apologetic initially, but then repeatedly failed to follow up with me about some parts they were supposed to order for me, for the stove I called this evening to follow up, and was understandably frustrated about the continued lack of reasonable service I was told to "have a nice life" and then hung up onPlease please steer clear of this awful company!

Great service technician, terrible managementWe paid $for a chimney sweep and inspection on January 2, and were told everything was in great working order and we could start burning firesWe made a point to buy the best wood, oakWithin burning a few fires we experienced smoke back in the houseWe had them come back to double check their work and they found that the cap is inadequate for the chimney being that it was too short and suggested we replace it with one that would take care of the smoke issueI was then asked to pay $for a service feeHowever, they already had known it was too short and did not recommend that fix on their initial chimney inspectionThat would have saved me this second service call and the extra costs associatedThey should have stood by their initial inspection and realized that they did not do a thorough job initiallyAdd to that The fact that when I talked to their co-owners, husband and wife of course, they started yelling at me when I simply asked them to invoice me so I could either pay later or submit it to the homeowners (we rent) for the, to payThey refused to do so and continued yelling at me over the phone and ultimately providing rude and unbelievably unprofessional customer serviceI ultimately had to write the service technician a check, and feel extremely cheated and lied to by Wizard's Hearth and HomeI will not be using their services again, and I will spread my negative experience with all of my friends, family, and co-workersTerribly unprofessional
