Review: I contacted WJH appraisal services to obtain a home appraisal in an effort to cancel the PMI policy on my home, as it has significantly appreciated in value since we purchased the home 3 years ago. [redacted], the appraiser, came to our home to take a few pictures and completed her survey of the house in less than 5 minutes. She stated to my husband that the appraisal would he emailed to us in 5 days, but, in fact, the appraisal wasn't emailed to us for 2 weeks. [redacted] had advised us that she had personal issues that were holding up the report. When we read the report, we were flabbergasted that the home was appraised at $420,000. According to a realtor who came to our home to provide us with a selling price if we were to list our house for sale, our home would most likely sell for $510-$520k. The realtor provided us with comparable home sales within our neighborhood, which were aligned with her evaluation. I called [redacted] approximately 5 times and left messages to speak with her to get an understanding of what data she used to evaluate the appraised value of our home. After calling numerous times without a return phone call, I was finally able to get a hold of her in the office. She requested that I fax her the material which the realtor provided to me, to which I complied, and she stated that she would review the material and revisit her appraisal. I never heard back from [redacted] and called at least a dozen times, leaving voicemails in addition to leaving messages with her colleague. We are requesting a refund of the $350 to obtain another appraisal from another company, due the the inaccurate and unfair appraisal which was provided to us from WJH appraisal services. They are completely unprofessional and provided the most atrocious customer service from any company with whom I have worked.Desired Settlement: Refund of $350
