Review: I contacted by phone and spoke with Mr. S[redacted] on 9/6/16 inquiring about a background check. After speaking with me for a short time he advised of the fee amount, $600.00 and indicated I did not have to physically come into the office but since my request was simple, I could do payment over the phone. I did call back and gave my credit card information and received a receipt from him via email on this date.

He indicated I could call him around 7pm in the evenings to get updates but that it would take several days for all resources to come in and once this happens I would receive a full report of findings.

I spoke with Mr. S[redacted] on 9/8/16 and he gave some information already received and indicated it would still take several days but again, I could call back to get updates. I called 9/9/16, 9/10/16 and left voice messages, because it was the weekend I figured I may not hear back from him. I called again on Monday, 9/12/16 and left a message and also emailed him to see what was happening, again no response. On Tuesday, 9/13/16 I called approximately 6pm when I left work and left another message. An hour later at 7pm I called and received a message that his voicemail was full and could not accept messages. I called the next day, 9/14/16 and the mailbox was still full. I tried two other phone numbers, one listed on his website as a Philadelphia office, ###-###-#### which indicated the call could not be completed as dialed, and another phone listed on his email receipt of ###-###-#### which indicated it is a non-working number.

I did call my credit card and confirmed there were no other charges run other than 2 small charges that I made after his $600.00 charge. I did request a "lock" on my card account.

My concern also is the confidentiality of information of who to investigate.

I called the Revdex.com and although the business is not registered in the system, there were also no complaints filed in the last 3 years either.

Please advise.Desired Settlement: The ideal situation is to have the business complete the job I requested but more troubling is the lack of communication, which is showing untrust. If this is a scam business I would like to dispute the $600.00 fee that was charged as well.

The website and per Mr. S[redacted], he has been in business for 25 years. A simple response to a call or email to let me know where things stand should be a given to clients.
