There is no communication between the estimator and the technicians I was not able to get the people on site to understand that certain items for which I contracted were not being done, and other work that meant cutting through the membrane was inane The site boss stopped by, and I tried to explain what I mentioned above, and he simply left the site The installers would not listen to me, and continued to cut holes into the membrane after I showed them that the portion of roof involved had a cathedral ceiling with blown in insulation between the roof and ceiling
Perhaps they do not understand English, but my roof ended up with vents in my cathedral roof and no replacement of failing plywood from the original roof, as contracted, in areas that were weak, where they broke through with their feet
I wanted extra underlayment in the form of lb felt, and that was ignored but replaced with some thin underlayment that is not tar felt
I asked for a white shingle but received a grey, so I ended up coating the roof myself with a white reflective
