Good morning ***.This is Elwood from wny home restorationAs far as the complaint goes she failed to mention that the base under her existing patio was slop I had to dig down feet below concrete grade and fill with stone compact and fill it in in levels to obtain a stable baseI was more than far just charging her for stone no extra laborWhich is why there was stone in yardI am a concrete guy not a landscaperWe never fix grassAlso I took out a few stumps at no charge For the color when stamping the color is never exactly what you think no way to control it but it is not the best job which is why I would rather tear it out because it will cost the same amount for either and fixing it there is no way to know if it will workI am more than willing to tear out and replaceI went threw and am still going threw some financial problems but I have accounts to replace and by spring I should be back on my feet A wheelbarrow was left but was not going to remain there forever just had to be picked up which it wasAs for garbage I had to leave but I do not believe it was left all overThank you Elwood M [redacted] I will be waiting for response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  Regards,  [redacted] In response to WNY restoration:1) in regard to the"slop" under the existing patio there was no way of knowing the condition of ground under a cement patio that had existed for years. It was a silly comment to state that I didn't inform him. This has nothing to do with the complaint I filed.   2) in response to the comments about not cleaning up the garbage, stones and wheelbarrow, Elwood stated that he is a concrete guy not a landscaper, part of any job is clean up but again,  I did not file a complaint for this matter  3) I did in fact pay for the stumps that were removed and have copies of the texts stating the prove we agreed on, which was paid  this had nothing to do with my complaint though   4) Elwood came and inspected the work after I requested him to do so. He was very unhappy and apologetic about the color as well as the pitting (which he didn't even address in his response). He knows that it did not come out right and was not done properly. I have no desire to have the entire patio pulled out and replaced. I simply want the color to be fixed. Common sense says that fixing the color could not be anywhere near the cost of completely tearing out a patio and replacing it. Factoring in stone concrete and manual labor this just doesn't even make sense. I do not want the mess again and besides a few areas of pitting and the color, the patio is in good condition and not in need of full demolition. I am hesitant to accept any resolution from Elwood except for monetary. The reason being is that when he had 6+ months time to make the repairs he missed several appointments, and never showed up in time to fix the problem. We had agreed on a solution and I even picked colors. He set a November date to make the repairs and then seemed surprised that it was too cold to make the repairs. I would like the financial compensation for the cost of the stamp and color.  He does not appear reliable enough to make the repairs given his history of missing appointments, failure to respond to calls or emails and not getting the job done in the 6 months he had to do it. I have been more than patient and accommodating of this family and financial situation which were taken advantage of.

Good morning [redacted].This is Elwood from wny home restoration. As far as the complaint goes she failed to mention that the base under her existing patio was slop I had to dig down 4 feet below concrete grade and fill with stone compact and fill it in in levels to obtain a stable base. I was more than...

far just charging her for stone no extra labor. Which is why there was stone in yard. I am a concrete guy not a landscaper. We never fix grass. Also I took out a few stumps at no charge.  For the color when stamping the color is never exactly what you think no way to control it but it is not the best job which is why I would rather tear it out because it will cost the same amount for either and fixing it there is no way to know if it will work. I am more than willing to tear out and replace. I went threw and am still going threw some financial problems but I have accounts to replace and by spring I should be back on my feet.  A wheelbarrow was left but was not going to remain there forever just had to be picked up which it was. As for garbage I had to leave but I do not believe it was left all over. Thank you Elwood M[redacted] I will be waiting for response
