I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI waited days to ensure enough time has passed between the time the deposit of $was allegedly returnedIt is my understanding that it was mailed back in form of “my” returned money order along with my application because I requested my application information to be returned to meTwo things are wrong with that responseFirst I never gave a money order I gave cash to Annmarie L*** as shown on the attached receiptTwo I never requested my application to be returnedSo it is assumed I am being confused with another dissatisfied potential tenant or this is just a responseIn any event I want to resolve thisI want my refund given back to me in person because that is how I provided itI am not familiar w Jim M*** nor have I ever spoke with himThe person I had the issue with is John D*** and the only contact I have ever spoke withI have called him and left several messages regarding my refund after it was claimed to be returnedHe doesn’t return calls and has stopped communication which is what originally what prompted this complaintAt this point I believe I was scammed out of my $I do not want to play phone tag and I am not interested in any more broken promises or alleged refunds in the mailI am very disappointed and shockedI just want my refund and I do not want it be mailedI have included copy of my application along w copy of receipt Thank youI

In response to Ms. [redacted]'s concerns, applications are excepted on a first come first servebasis. That being said, yes Ms. [redacted] application was reviewed and accepted, but at thesame time so were two ( 2 ) others taken and approved for that same apartment. In caseslike this the first approved...

application with a full deposit and also all other documentspertaining to tenancy is the one who is granted residency.As to Ms.[redacted]'s 2nd concern concerning the inability to communicate through the useof cell phones. Ms.[redacted]'s phone was not working properly and although she could hearme speaking, Her responses because of a malfunction within her phone could not beheard. I simply suggested she communicate through text or from another phone . In factit's not that I did not want to communicate further, it is simply speaking furthercommunication would not be possible under those circumstances.Lastly Ms. [redacted]'s deposit was mailed to her present residence as given on herapplication on September 5th 2017 four (4) days after it was written.If I can be of further assistance please feel free to call me @[redacted]Sincerely yours,  John [redacted]/Property Manager

My only conclusion of what had transpired is the files may have been inadvertently been  mixed when processing refunds had occurred .We are making very effort to contact the  recipient by phone to hand deliver the refund as suggested from our last conversation by phone 10/13/2017 at 3:10 PM  If I can be of further assistance please feel free to call me @[redacted] Sincerely yours,  John D[redacted]/Property Manager

Revdex.com spoke with the business today and the following was stated:Every potential resident is asked a few questions to see if they are eligible to rent and apartment.  He was just starting a job and had no previous employment history.  I advised him that there was already an application in on...

the apartment and it was in fact rented the next day.  Our qualifications for applicants is one year of solid employment which this applicant stated he did no have.  There is an income level that has to be met as well.  A monthly income where the rent would be equal to 1/3 or that income or less.
