Wolf Building

We purchased a home in May 2019 that was built by Wolf Building Company in November 2018. The home was new and was less than 6 months old at the time of purchase.When we purchased the home we were provided paperwork from the seller that the home was under a builders warranted until December 2019.The seller pointed out an issue that he had reported to the builder about a light fixture that was installed incorrectly.The seller told us the builder Blake Wolf was aware and to contact him to have the expensive light fixture replaced and installed properly.We followed the instructions and contacted Blake Wolf.He had us send pictures and stated he would be coming out to replace the light fixture.He never came and never responded to any of our additional emails or voicemails we sent.We still have this email correspondence from May.Fast forward to a few weeks ago. We were having our fence installed and went out to our side of our property and noticed that the electrical box attached to our air conditioner caught fire sometime in the fall when our air conditioner was still being ran.We immediately emailed Blake.He responded asking for us to send pictures which we did. He stated he gave our contact information to the electrician that built our house and he would come fix it.He said if the electrician did not call by mid week the following week to notify him.We never heard from the electrician. We contacted Blake as he instructed and he again has refused to respond despite us leaving numerous emails and voicemails on his phone.We ended up having to hire our own electrician despite this occurring during the time our home was still under builders warrantee.The electrician we hired documented how the box was installed improperly and certain materials to prevent the wires from arcing was not installed as no residue was found.He replaced the damaged box and rewired the electrical for us; again at our cost and expense.It is pretty unfortunate to have a builder that doesn’t care and does not hold true to the warrantee that they put in place.
