Instead he persisted to come later and later until he had her sign away timber rights to never cut trees. They completely destroyed the land. In the 40\'s grandpa built a dam and an acre n half pond. There equipment plowed over the dam till it broke. It is now a mud puddle. They Snook log trucks out at night since they knew my uncle started counting and trying to keep track of board feet. Later a professional looked and estimated granny had been shorted over $100,000... In the middle of the once beautiful land is a 40 foot high pile of garbage, log truck tires, and debri. Including there own personal home garbage. They used it as a dump. After raping the land, the owner offered granny $100,000 for 90 acres. What a joke. About the amount he stole from her timber. It has been a couple years. The land is now covered with briars and undergrowth. Better companies reseed or plant hoping for future business. This company does not care. They knew there would be no future business with this family. It is one of the saddest tragedies in my personal life.
