Wolf Lodge Inn Reviews (1)

Review: The management team at this restaurant is rude and unprofessional. Myselfand three others had dinner there about 2 weeks ago.One of their staffdumped a plate of sauces on me and ruined a 300. shirt in which I bought in Hawaii. At first they said they would take care of the problem but as time passed they started to play the blame game. Suggesting that the spotswere already there. After two agonizing weeks of smoke and mirrors managementasked me to meet them in a parking lot and I would receive a discounted valueof 168. and my shirt back. Once arriving at the location on April 27, 2013 at11am he got out of his car and got belligerant and said I was going to get nothing but my spotted shirt back. He said I would not be welcomed back at theirrestaurant again. After going back and forth then he issued a check for 150.and returned the shirt. The shirt cost me 300 and thats what I should have been reimbursed. They were very rude and unhelpful and created a stressfulenvironment. One in which they did not have to create by just handing theproblem professionally and politely.Desired Settlement: The entire amount of 300. returned to me.

Regarding case # 9521630 Dear Revdex.com

regarding the complaint filed at your office involving Wolf Lodge Steakhouse we would like for you to review our response.

One of our busser was clearing off some plates from the said complainant's table when she accidently dropped a small cup of ranch dressing on the individuals right rear shoulder. Although we try to avoid this type of accident it does happen on rear occasions and per our policy we do take the clothing and get it professionally cleaned for the customer and the customers have all left happy. But on this occasion a manager went the customers table helped wipe his shoulder clean and told him we will be happy to get it cleaned for him. Several days later the customer called and said he took the shirt to his cleaner and that there were five different types of food stains on his shirt that they could not get out We then asked him if he could please drop his shirt off at one of our sister restaurants in Spokane (this saving him driving all the way out to our restaurant as he lived in Spokane), and we told him if our cleaners who cleans our work shirts could not get the stain out we would reimburse him for the shirt. We took the shirt to our cleaner and when the cleaners examined it the noticed that the shirt was not cleaned and that the stain was still fresh and they could get it out. While the shirt was at the cleaners we contacted the shirt manufacture and they told us that the shirt in that size retailed for $138.00.

While we had the shirt at the cleaners the customer called several times over a couple days arguing and accusing us that our busser dropped a whole tub of dishes on him and that food got all over him from head to toe and even "all over the walls". We then spoke to the busser and server and they repeated again what happen and it is the same as what the manager says that night (a little ranch on the right rear shoulder). The customer stated that we are all liars and was being extremely rude towards us constantly telling us he is worth a lot of money and has eighty shirts in his closet. Our cleaner contacted us and stated they did get the shirt clean.

The next morning we picked up the shirt from the cleaners and found it had been cleaned. We then contacted the customer and meet him at our sister companies parking lot (this saving his a 80+ mile round trip drive), yes it was in the parking lot because the business was not open that early on a Saturday morning (1100 hours). When he arrived we handed him the shirt and he became very hostile stating that he could see stains all over the shirt and we ruined it and how horrible we all are and how we did not bow down to the saying that the customer is always right. Seeing that we could NEVER make this customer happy we issued him a check for $150.00 to replace the shirt. He then argued that the money was not enough and we told him that this we were quoted $138.00 per the Manufacture, he the stated "he paid too much for it because he bought it from a store in Hawaii and we all know how much the stores in Hawaii mark up things". Because of the way he acted towards us and how he handled the

whole situation we asked him to never patron our establishment again to avoid any more issues. When we got ready to depart the parking lot he shook hands and said Thank You.

We tried to do the best we could to make this customer happy, we professionally cleaned his shirt and it looked great plus we also gave him enough money to purchase a new shirt. He does not have any proof that he paid that amount and we paid him more than what the shirt retailed for per the manufacture. We have wiped our hands clean regarding this situation and are moving on to make sure our of guest that visit patron our establishment leave happy and well feed.

Best Regards,

Wolf Lodge Steakhouse

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9521630, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Their entire statement contains falsehoods and lies. Remember I had dinner with 3 other adults

who witnessed everything. The shirt cost 300. and their offer was not made in good faith. I

would accept full payment of 300. and nothing else. They have been unprofessional and not

willing to do what it is right to make me whole again. Again they spilled an entire tray of food

on me not just a little container as they suggest. Very unprofessional and not willing to do what

is right. Very arrogant bunch! Remember I had three adults witness everything.
