customer is definitely NOT happyThe metal roof on the barn still leaks and Wolf Roofing is aware of this
The repair crew that came out to repair some broken metal was also supposed to check all screws for proper placementI was advised by both Tyler Wolf and *** that this would happenThe repair crew advised they were only there to replace the broken metal and would not be checking the screwsThe repair crew also advised that a piece that was supposed to be placed under the metal was not there and that was probably causing the leaks
My wife spoke with Tyler and advised him of this and he stated he had subcontracted the roof and would have to order the additional itemsThat was approximately two weeks ago and is also the last communication we have had with Wolf Roofing about fixing the metal roof properly
We also had an instance of the area around our chimney leaking during a rain storm approximately weeks agoWolf Roofing installed the roof on my house as wellThey arrived the next day and caulked around the chimney and said that would fix itI showed Tyler Wolf the damage to the boards inside the house where water had gotten inThere has been no attempt from Wolf Roofing to fix these boards to date
We have hired a different contractor who removed the flashing around the chimney on our house due to it leakingMy new contractor advised me the flashing was not done properly and, in addition, the bricks underneath the flashing on the chimney should have been tuck pointed before the flashing was installedMy new contractor also took photos of water damage to the boards under the shingles due to water leaking around the chimney
My new contractor also pointed out that the metal wrapped around the edges of the roof were done improperly which is allowing water to get underneath and onto the woodPhotos of all of these issues have been taken
I am paying my new contractor to fix these items as I am worn out with the lying and stalling that seems to be standard operating procedure at Wolf RoofingThe fact that they would provide an answer that the dispute is resolved and the customer is happy simply illustrates my point that they make up information to suit their needsThey made no effort to contact me to see if all the problems were resolved before providing their answerThis is unacceptable
Wolf Roofing was paid $8,for the roof on my house and $26, for the metal roof on my barnBoth roofs were obviously not completed correctly and continue to cause damage to my property
With this in mind, I do not want Wolf Roofing to do any further "repairs" as they only seem to be band aids and do not fix the real problemI would like for Wolf Roofing to pay for at least half of the cost I have incurred from the new contractor to fix their original mistakesI would think that with the amount they were paid to initially install the roofs this is only fair
