Please see the attached documentsThe customer called her local insurance agent with some complaints on or about Jan 16th, 2017, the local agent then sent the complaints to the drying company instead of contacting us directlyIn a professional manner, the drying company, forwarded the complaints
to us so that we could address the issuesWe responded to each of the issues the same day, based on the detailed notes that we have kept for this claim in our fileWe were contacted by this customer on 6/27/giving us the details of the water damage that she had at her homeBased on our notes at the time of the call, she had hired a different contractor to do the repairs and had already fired themThe other contractor had already removed some of the damaged items, therefore making it impossible for us know exactly what materials she had in her home to begin with We can and will provide pictures of the property that were taken the first day that we met with the customerWe wrote our estimate, presented it the customer and she signed the contract on 7/26/(this is after the insurance company had approved the charges)Please see the complaints that were presented to us on January 16, 2017, along with the other document showing our responsesWe did confirm on 2/9/17, that her insurance agent received the responseHowever, we do not know if she forwarded the responses on to our mutual clientBased on our notes, our manager met with the client the last day that she agreed for us to come and finish up, she was satisfied with the work at that timeHe noted that he informed her that he would get her file finished up, the final charges to her insurance company, schedule a date with her to settle up and do a couple of touch ups in the paint the she was concerned withShe was satisfied with that

I am rejecting this response because: I have not heard from anyone in over a monthThe work is awfulThe bathtub is not working and rooms are unfinished.? I would like to sever ties and not owe you anything
Sincerely,

In response to the Consumer: We did not work on the bathtub. The bathtub that she has mentioned is a Jacuzzi tub. It is standard for Jacuzzi tubs to be hard wired. This tub, however, has an extension cord ran through the ceiling and into a socket in the garage. It is not properly wired, it has a plug on it. While we were there working, the tub was never "plugged in". We can only assume that it hasn't been plugged back in by the homeowner. We did not charge to plug the tub back in for her. As far as the 4 rooms that are not finished We agree with the consumers statement. However, we did not charge to finish the work that was left to be completed. The insurance company paid for the base trim to be replaced. The consumer had dark stained base trim in her home, she decided that she wanted to go back with a more modern white base trim. She told our production manager that she wanted to have the walls repainted in some rooms (at her own expense. This was NOT covered by the insurance claim).  She requested that the new trim not be put down yet, she wanted to hire the painter that had been out to work at the house, to paint the walls first and then install her new trim. Which is a logical decision on her part. We agreed to remove the charges from our final bill for the new trim and she agreed that she would call the painter when she was ready for him to come back and paint the walls and install the trim. She even went as far to tell us that she wanted to wait until she got her tax return back. We spoke with the painter, as of 2/21/17, he has not heard from her again to finish up the work. He said that the last conversation that he had with her, she was going to wait to have the extra work done, when she got her tax return back. Again, we agree with her statement that the work in not complete, however, she requested that she be the one to take care of scheduling the rest of the work to be completed. We WILL NOT allow any credits to her bill. She was paid by her insurance company, who approved all of the charges. She is responsible for paying us 100% of the final bill that she received.
