Nov 03:40p Wolfe's Foreign Auto ###-###-#### To whom it may concern: In response to *** *** complaint on here recent car repairs, I have spoken with *** to try and remedy the issues she hasThere has been some miscommunication along the way and I feel we can take care of the
problems she's havingIn response to some of the complaints she has I would first like to clarify a few thingsShe has complained about the price and time period of the repairs*** was given an "estimate" on restoration repairsThis vehicle has sat for a very long time and needed a lot of work to get started and be safe to driveWe ran into multiple issues with getting rare hard to find parts and other issues that popped up from the car sittingYou have to remember also that the car did not run eitherI kept her up to date along the way, so there was no lack of communicationWhen the car would not start for her she asked me to come to the house to look at the vehicleI explained to her that I couldn't do that because all my tooling is at the shop and did not know what tools would need since I didn't know the issueShe was also never ignored and I always returned her cal! in a prompt fashion, sometimes leaving message's that I think they may not have gotten at timesUnfortunately l cannot give my full attention to it / since I do have other customers to take care of as wellI had also told her that the vehicle would smoke when it was cold due to the fact that the valve seals were dry from it sitting so longI would take some time and lots of miles for that to gradually stopWe did not do any internal work to the engine and was told to not do anymore work on the vehicle since they had no more money to spend at this timeIt is not a serious issue at allWe are going to have the vehicle towed to the shop to see what the issue is with it not startingI have never once said that I would not look at the vehicle or help to remedy the problemI do take offense to some of the negative remarks she made and I hope she will apologize at some point for themWe did a lot of work to this car and multiple repairs that she was never charged for, you have to remember this car hadn't ran in years and we brought it back to lifeThey drove it an hour home from our shop and had no issuesSomething happened shortly after, but that can be expected with a year old carWe will do everything we can to get this car running for her like it did when it left our shop.Sincerely,Kurtis S***
