Wolfer's Home services has notified Revdex.com, orally, that their advertised claim of beating competitors quote by $500 is discontinued.  In addition, Wolfer's forwarded Revdex.com the following email from your email address:
Hey Leon, 
Yes, I'm actually thinking we're going to be cancelling all...

together... We found a reputable company that beat your quote by $1700 and they included the wifi-thermostat - exact same model xp14-042 and air handler.. They also beat your interest rate at 3.5%. (Without knowing who they were competing against.)
 
In emailing with you earlier, it didn't seem like your company was willing to do any negotiating, and even took back the wifi stat you included, causing me to look elsewhere. 
 
Anyway, I do appreciate your time.

Based on the fact the company would not match my quote, I'd like my $100 refunded, (which would have gone toward my purchase.)
As you can see below Mr. B[redacted] advised he would not follow their advertising claim. Which my husband discussed at his site visit as well and he said they do.

I am sorry about that! I am almost always competitive with the reputable shops here! Especially with the Costco Cash Back! But the prices are set for me. I do wish I would have just bought the stat now though. I hope it works out for you. Just check the reviews and protect yourself!

I have reached out to Larry and had to leave a message for him to call me back, but I did make it very clear in the message that we will honor any rebates we have quoted to him.  There is never a time in our business where we would not take care of our customers if we've made an error.  We...

would never intentionally misquote a rebate, but if we accidentally did we will absolutely pay for any rebates he was promised. We apologize you were not completely satisfied with our service. Our employees only motivation is to resolve issues for our customers. I have reviewed the service order you were supplied with (see below) as well as the photos taken of your furnace issues (see attached.)  It clearly states,...

"found no holes through main heat exchanger" but does identify other issues needing to be addressed. Although another company may get the unit to operate that does not mean its functioning properly or safely. Our technician showed you the issues through an inspection scope/camera while in front of the furnace. It was live footage. This furnace is 55 years old and the manufacturer is out of business. We are happy to refund you the $99, but feel strongly our diagnosis was correct and the person that repaired this unit did so without addressing significant safety issues. I would be happy to visit with you personally to show you with a scope/camera the damaged areas. Thank you,John C[redacted]
