We disagree with Ms***'s complaintAttached is an email showing her request for a fine reversal and an extension of the compliance deadlineWe granted both requests and extended the deadline out to October 15th (not November 15th).We provide management services for the *** *** ***
*** *** (to which Ms*** is referring to as the "HOA")However, we do not set the covenant enforcement policies or rules for the neighborhoodSuch rules and policies are established by the homeowner-elected metro district boardWe recommend Ms*** contact her metropolitan district board directly if she has issues or concerns regarding the rules and policies regarding covenant enforcementThe board hold public meetings semi-monthly (meeting dates and times are posted on the neighborhood website) and the board's contact information is also available on the website (at ***).In 2016, we issued over violation notices in the *** *** *** neighborhood (comprised of homes) regarding various violations of the neighborhood covenantsMost of these violations were related to landscape maintenance issuesThe covenants for the *** *** *** apply to the entire Lot exterior, which includes backyardsWe have received several complaints from neighbors regarding the poor condition of this lot (including the backyard) and this is one of the reasons why Ms*** evicted her tenant from tis property and has spent a significant amount of time cleaning up the propertyNeighbors have allowed us to view the condition of Ms***'s backyard from their backyardsBecause we were able personally, visually verify significant landscape maintenance violations in the front and backyard, we were required by the Board's enforcement policies to issue violation noticesThe backyard landscape disrepair notice has been open since May 25, with a compliance deadline of July 25thAfter granting a few deadline extension requests to her tenants, we could no longer grant further deadline extensions beyond the last deadline extension request of October 15thHence, after October 15th (nearly months from the original violation notice date), per the Board's enforcement policy, we were required to post a $fine to Ms***'s accountIf Ms*** would likely to appeal the fine, she will need to contact the District boardThe 4th violation notice and $fine that was issued on October 28th incorrectly stated the next compliance deadline was November 13thThe notice should have indicated the compliance deadline was extended to May 1, Per District enforcement policies, landscape inspections and enforcement is not conducted between November 1st and April 30th each yearWe have corrected the compliance deadline in our system to reflect the May 1, deadline

I am rejecting this response because: This is a case of unnecessary harassment. The neighbors tell me Mr. [redacted] does not like rental properties in his neighborhood especially when a single older women owns it.
