My first comment is surprise that the letter says 2nd response I've not received anything about this; however, I've not stopped thinking about this unfortunate situation After looking at the records for [redacted] , I am surprised that I charged you for any supplies and most certainly the puppy play day The only explanation I can come up with is fatigue, heightened emotions and simply not thinking clearly I know that the [redacted] s did not sleep while [redacted] was gone and running; but, nor did I or any of my staff sleep For me, since I took an oath, I was upset that this happened because I have promised to protect pets I thought I had taken proper measures to prevent puppy play day dogs from escaping and have trained the staff to prevent this from happening Our goal of puppy play day for [redacted] was to help him acclimate to his new home and his anxieties, which he was struggling to adjust.Even though it doesn't amend this traumatic situation, I want to let them know that my staff and myself hunted for him while [redacted] was gone My employees kept up on FB, Neighborhood, Rover rescue, Greyhound Society, Bloomington Animal Control, the Bloomington Police, our other clients, Holiday Gas Station, Laundromat, ABC Best catering, True Value Hardware, other businesses in addition to crawling through people's yards We canvased the area with our cars, our dogs and on foot for many hours and days One of my employees knocked on doors asking people to help and got people to come out of their houses and help with the search.I would gladly send a check for $which was the charges for puppy play day, Animax ,Chlorhex and DrontalHonestly, I am embarrassed by having charged the [redacted] 's for them I would gladly do whatever I could to try to amend this I hope it helps to know that I have changed the door knob on the front door since the fencing didn't stop his escape Please accept my apologies Sincerely, Dr***

My first comment is surprise that the letter says 2nd response.  I've not received anything about this; however, I've not stopped thinking about this unfortunate situation.  After looking at the records for [redacted], I am surprised that I charged you for any supplies and most...

certainly the puppy play day.  The only explanation I can come up with is fatigue, heightened emotions and simply not thinking clearly.  I know that the [redacted]s did not sleep while [redacted] was gone and running; but, nor did I or any of my staff sleep.  For me, since I took an oath, I was upset that this happened because I have promised to protect pets.  I thought I had taken proper measures to prevent puppy play day dogs from escaping and have trained the staff to prevent this from happening.  Our goal of puppy play day for [redacted] was to help him acclimate to his new home and his anxieties, which he was struggling to adjust.Even though it doesn't amend this traumatic situation, I want to let them know that my staff and myself hunted for him while [redacted] was gone.  My employees kept up on FB, Neighborhood, Rover rescue, Greyhound Society, Bloomington Animal Control, the Bloomington Police, our other clients, Holiday Gas Station, Laundromat, ABC Best catering, True Value Hardware, other businesses in addition to crawling through people's yards.  We canvased the area with our cars, our dogs and on foot for many hours and days.  One of my employees knocked on doors asking people to help and got 8 people to come out of their houses and help with the search.I would gladly send a check for $125.13 which was the charges for puppy play day, Animax ,Chlorhex and Drontal. Honestly, I am embarrassed by having charged the [redacted]'s for them.  I would gladly do whatever I could to try to amend this.  I hope it helps to know that I have changed the door knob on the front door since the fencing didn't stop his escape.  Please accept my apologies.  Sincerely, Dr. [redacted]
