Wolley Movers Reviews (%countItem)

My husband scheduled the movers to move our things today at Noon, they arrived close to 4p. I had to leave work to let them in because they were LATE! When I arrived, one of the guys were wrapping himself in shrink wrap, I wanted to show them which apt they would be moving things from and where to park, I literally waited an additional 5 min while the guy unwrapped himself.
Additionally, they gave a quote over the phone of $400 and once we arrived in the apartment, one of the guys stated that there would be an additional fee of $10 per item if we wanted our BRAND NEW furniture wrapped and protected. This is not something that was discussed when we hired them for the move. At this point, we paid the money because we didn't have time to wait.
Saving the best for last. There were 3 guys and only 1 of them had on a mask. I have children and my entire family has been quarantining due to us being part of the protected class. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. We are spending nearly $500 to move 1 bedroom and a living room set!!! Only giving 1 star because I have no other option!!!

The crew couldn't have worked any harder. Even though they were working hourly, they did not milk the hours whatsoever. Nor did they use access supplies (tape, boxes, packing paper, etc) to inflate the billable cost. This has been an issue of mine with previous moving companies, They also worked for 16 hours and didn't seem to slow down towards the end.

The moving crew were all very polite to everyone in my family. They moved my entire house without breaking a single thing.

I couldn't recommend Wolley Movers any more, and this was the 5th moving company that I have used!

Definitely go with Wolley Movers!

I used Wolley movers first in September 2015, they really did a nice job then, which is why I referred many friends their way, and decided to use their services on 07/12/2018, BIG MISTAKE!!! It seems that from the other similar tragedies I've read that other customers dealt with there must have been changes to the company and the people currently running it have NO BUSINESS being in the customer service industry !! The first strike was the fraudulent charges. The movers took it upon themselves to deem I would need extra boxes. First and foremost I HAD EXTRA BOXES AVAILABLE FOR THEM TO USE had they only mentioned this!!! The kicker is that they decided to fill up the boxes 1/4 full and leave 75% empty to trump up the amount of boxes used thereby giving themselves a bigger commission!! You can imagine my shock when they showed me a final bill of an extra $480 in these fraudulent charges !! I made sure to treat these movers considerately -buying them pizza, drinks, snacks, candy to show my appreciation because moving is a hard job! But it was a huge slap in the face to realize they took advantage of my kindness by this scam they did. I had also left a generous tip before I opened the boxes and saw how ridiculous they packed these boxes (2 small throw pillows would take up a whole garment box to give you an idea). The movers also broke my $6100 dining room set upon assembly!! I brought this to their attention and they said they would fix it. Well, their idea of "fixing it" included putting 7 long screws through the entire table thereby damaging it even more !! They also delivered this table 2 WEEKS AFTER MY INITIAL MOVE. I refused the table with the 7 screws and asked that they have an actual professional fix the table. I should note that I did not receive any reimbursement for the dining set that they ruined. Unfortunately this was not the only piece of furniture they ruined. I also had a $1400 genuine leather sofa they scratched due to them forcing it through the door. I have other scratch marks on my mattress, occasional tables that are scuffed up, and many kitchenware platters and dish ware that were entirely shattered and broken. All my attempts to speak with a manager were met with the secretary telling me he "is out of the office" while I can hear him whispering in the background for her to say that. All the secretary would divulge is that "he goes by the name of Norman" and Norman or whAtever he calls himself should know that dodging your customers who spend a few thousand dollars on your service is not how you do business!! Mistakes happen, I am sure my furniture is not the first to be broken in a move but it is the horrible way they decided to handle their mess up that is infuriating, coupled with their scam of fraudulent charges. I gave the owners Rahim and Norman ample time after I was finally able to communicate with them to rectify the damage they did to my belongings as well as comment on their fraudulent charges and I was basically met with "tough luck" or no response at all. If you value your furniture which I'm sure anybody hiring a PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY WOULD then avoid this place like the plague !!

Do me a favor stay the hell away from these Crooks I had a horrible experience and if you need more than one week to unpack do not use these guys because they will lie and say you have 9 months to check your items when you only have less than a week do not sign anything for them and do not pay them unless you check all your items. Don't end up making the mistake of believing anything they say. The "insurance" they have it won't cover all your items they will give you a government pamphlet that states you have 9 months to file a claim they will make you sign the paperwork that says you only have less than a week Beware of the customer service representative name Denise she is rude and all a horrible person she will hang up on you and won't be compassionate at all you better off finding someone else.
