In 1984, I had a D&C here, in and 1988, my children were born here - great experiences way back thenI just returned home from having a hysterectomy there on 06/08/- it was an awful experience My physician is awesome, but the nursing staff was unconcerned, under-trained, and unresponsive The IV would start beeping indicating it was empty - it took minimum minutes for someone to change it each time I was having lots of pain, contacted the nurse via the number left on my wall and the nurses call button, after an hour, finally called my doctor He came to the hospital and saw me minutes before any nurse bothered to show up I was then throwing up, once again called the numbers the nurses posted on my wall and the call button, but got no response until I called the doctors answering service Instead of cleaning up their act and doing their job, their response was to lecture me and the person staying with me that we shouldn't contact the doctor! The nurses aid asked my son if he wanted bedding to stay the night, he said yes, but was only brought a blanket and pillowcase - no pillowI'm not sure what has happened there in the last years, but I used to think this was the place to go for quality care and now would never consider going back
