Dr Elizabeth *** has been my mum's doctor for 8yrs at the Katy location, and then the *** west Houston location I have never questioned their services or prices until this yearMy mum doesn't have insurance so we have always had to pay out of pocket for her Pap Smear and somehow the prices have consistently increased over the years and I never questioned it because of the service until our last appointment in May, at the *** west Houston locationWe were told we would have to see the Physician Assistant (PA) this time since it was just a Pap SmearThe PA came in, she didn't have a clue as to my mum's history and why she was having a Pap at 74yrsI proceeded to educate her, and gave her info she askedShe didn't say anything or add any value, she just took notes and then did the PapWhen it was time to pay, we were told to pay dollars for the Pap Smear and another dollars for the PAI was furious Has anyone ever had a Pap Smear for dollars? If my mum had insurance would they bill dollars to the insurance company for a Pap? The most annoying part is, the PA didn't do anything besides the Pap, and take notesShe had no clue why we were thereThey expected us to pay dollars in addition to dollars for a service we didn't receiveThis company is a rip offThey prey on honest hardworking people who just happen to not have insurance and want to take money they did not work forIn all of 8yrs we have not owed this company, so they decided it was time to rip us offThe bill says the dollars is for review and evaluationIf she did a review before the appointment, how come she didn't know why we were there ? How come, I had to explain why my mum who is post menopausal, not sexually active, and 74yrs old was having a Pap?Please stay away from this people, they are thievesI paid the dollars for the Pap, but did not pay dollars for review and evaluation because that never happened
