Women's Health Connection, P.S. Reviews (3)

First I would like to say, that I have never written a bad review in my life, but I do find reading reviews helpful and would have liked to read an honest review on this clinic before I wasted so much money and time. Especially with such a personal service, I would hate for someone else to have to experience this. I have been going to this practice since late fall of last year (2014) and every appointment that I have been to, I have had to be in the office at least 2 and up to 4 hours for a routine visit, sometimes waiting over an hour in the waiting room. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt the first couple of times, but by the 3rd and 4th visit I was irritated. I have had several incidents that have caused that irritation to grow, but today was the straw that broke the camels back. I had an appointment scheduled today for a procedure, but had received a message on my voicemail last week stating that they needed to cancel that appointment and move it. I tried to call back and got their general voicemail box (which happens quite often) and left a message. Nobody ever got back to me so I called again this morning before office hours to confirm that it was cancelled and to reschedule. I left a message on their voice mail again, but never heard back. I called them again before my scheduled appointment and finally got somebody. The person on the phone had no idea how to check anything or how to help me. I was finally transferred to someone who told me that they couldn't help me reschedule the appointment, but that she would have someone call me. About an hour later someone called me back and asked if I could come in today, I had told them that I had drank water and coffee (it was a procedure where you are not supposed to drink before the procedure) and she checked with the doctor the doctor said to come in and it would be OK. Thinking that I didn't have an appointment, I had to rearrange my entire day to make it work to go in and have this done. I did that without complaining and drove clear across town to make it to the appointment at the time they had told me to. After I got checked in the Nurse asked if I had had anything to drink and I told her yes and the amount but that they doctor said it would be OK. The Nurse left the room for a minute and came back and said they would not be able to do the procedure and that they were only going to charge me $50 for the cancellation today. I told her that I was upset because of the miscommunication, having to rearrange my day and then them charging me on top of all of that and that I would like to talk to the DR. After that about 3 other people came in the room and I voiced my feelings to them, they all understood but could not do anything about it. I was then told that if the doctor came in the room they would have to also charge me for an office visit. I explained how her not coming in to talk with me would result in me changing clinics and would cost her thousands of dollars in the future all because she could not take a couple of minutes to come talk to her patient about a situation that their staff messed up without charging me. She still refused to come in. She had no regard for the time that I had wasted or for my feelings or well being as a patient. I cannot even believe that their are doctors out there like this, I am blown away. She has zero care for her patients, it is all about money. I am utterly disappointed and am definitely switching practices. Don't waste your time here, there are better practices in Spokane with doctors that care for their patients.

Went in for an annual pap smear. I did not use the term preventive only when I filled out my paperwork. Now, after insurance I still owe over $800. Same tests available at our local clinic for $35. They will give you paperwork and if you answer any questions wrong, such as "Are you in menopause?", they will check everything and you will be billed for those tests. When you ask why there are doing all these tests, they will tell you that this is how they establish new patients. Don't let yourself be taken for the ride, just say "NO".

Billing to my insurance is always way behind and they will charge you service charges even though it is their delay and not yours.
they provide good services but it will end up costing you way more money then they tell you up front. Look at other options before going with this organization.
