I then went ahead and gave the customer the vehicle for a price of $OUT THE DOORMeaning, tax and licensing is included in that priceThe customer was then concerned and wanted a warranty but did not want to pay anymore money for thatWe went ahead and gave this customer a COMPLIMENTARY warrantyI, *** went over all the documents with this customer one by oneI explained that they did not have to pay for the warranty and we would take care of it and activate if they needed to use it free of charge(since warranties are charged for) We first signed the buyers guide which is a document that states that the vehicle is sold AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY FROM THE DEALER AND ALL USED VEHICLES CAN HAVE DEFAULTS IN THE FUTURE, which customers are 100% reliable forThe warranty from *** has it's original contract which *** is right, I highlighted WHAT IS COVERED and also WHAT IS NOT COVEREDAbout a week later a woman calls me and states the issue and I told them to reference to the warranty and I would activate it*** took the vehicle to a mechanic, after asking her the first time how many miles were on the car, she stated that there was less than miles on the carWhen she brought the report to me and I asked her again she stated that the mechanic put mileage on the vehicle and the vehicle was not supposed to have that many miles on it which was very sketchy to me why there would be any "miscommunication" on thatShe stated that the mechanic had said that the vehicle was possibly hit somewhere to cause that to happenWe had the vehicle on our lot and *** also test drove the vehicleIn the case that it "had an issue" that would have been seen right awayUnfortunately, we do not cover any repairs to vehicles because they are SOLD AS IS FROM THE DEALER*** has a warranty for the vehicle that covers what is listed in the contract up to $Any repairs that the customer believes they want fixed by the warranty they can feel free to contact *** at ***Thank you -***
I am rejecting this response because: Should the business not except my request I will have no alternative but to take them to court for fraud and lemon lawI currently have the car in the shop getting its suspension fixNext is the engine beltI want my $in coverage as explained to me by ***I have an inspection that shows $7,in repairs neededThis places a hardship on meI will not pay for additional coverage that isn't even the coverage she explainsYes it is in black and whiteBut she interpreted it for us to make it seem as if we were getting a lot of coverageI would like to point out that a minute test drive does not cause $7,in damageI also showed the car to my neighbors when I test drove it to my houseThey are willing to testify to that factmiles awaySo I drove it miles total that dayI still do not understand her obsession with milesI am upset about the lies over the warranty
Here is the contract stating what the customer paid for the vehicle. $4521.03.The warranty was additional charge that she did not pay for. We as a company, out of good will paid for the warranty. Customer also has a copy of her receipt and contract that states exactly what she paid for. Every customer gets a receipt for any dollar amount they pay for anything.
