I understand that *** [redacted] is not happy We expect that all moves go perfect, however, once in awhile one does not and his seems to be one of the ones that did not We try to look out for the customer's best interest by offering them valuation on their Household goods and [redacted] did not take it When customers decline we can only think that their belongings are covered by another way - maybe home owners? [redacted] went into a mini storage - not a Morse facility and is still in the storage facility that we do not have access to I did reach out to [redacted] to let him know that if he only paid for PLPD insurance on his auto - the insurance company would not pay out full value protection We take all complaints and concerns very serious - we could not of stayed in business for over years without addressing issues when they come up We did remove charges from his bill of $ Please let me know if there is something else that I can do Thank you [redacted] ***

For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:I am rejecting this proposed action for several reasons First the sales person said that the default insurance would cover any damages This was a lie Second the moving crew hid the fact that both the office furniture and my treadmill were damaged This is unacceptable

At the time of the move *** *** elected $per pound for the valuation of his items. All documents are signed. I apologize that *** *** experienced a damage during the course of his move however all is settled according to the election of valuation and the claim is closed.
If there were no damage to his items the $chosen would of been fine - since there was damage to his desk - I understand that this becomes an issue with *** ***. On a local move the customer has days to let us know of a claim in which he did on the desk. It was not until much passed the days that he brought up that the treadmill was also damaged. The claim was closed and settled at the time he brought up additional items
