I called about a broken washing machine shutoff value that was leakingIt was late at night and the person who answered the phone was very professional and had someone at my house within an hour Shawn was extremely efficient and very experienced along with a wonderful attitude so late at night He fixed the problem very quickly I was very please with technician and job done, but the price was $for two parts which he did not tell me how much they cost (I am guessing about $a piece), but only gave me a total cost

My tub backed up (Sat) and I called Wood's Plumbing (I checked on Home Adivsor .com) and the women who answered the phone was very polite and provided me with the cost and scheduled a time when *** could come out on the same dayBart called to let me know he was on his way (in fact, was running early)*** did a fantastic job! At first I contacted another plumber to resolve an issue with not having hot water in our guest bathroom showerHe said he would be at my house Wednesday between am and amThey showed at noonI could not allow them to do the job because I had to go to workThe job was rescheduled to FIRST CALL (AM ) days laterAgain no show until a telephone call at 8:telling me they would be at my home in minutesI cancelled
I then called WOOD's PlumbingMy first contact with Wood's Plumbing was a phone call to the companyI was totally impressed with her professionalism and information requested of me by the lady scheduling the appointmentShe asked me specific questions about my problem apparently in an effort to acquaint the Plumber with my specific problems
An appointment was scheduled for between a.mand 7:a.mthe following morning Promptly, at 7:a.mthe next day, two plumbers arrived at my doorThey were dressed in clean work uniforms apparently supplied by the company as they had the name of the company and the plumber's name on their clean pressed shirts I was impressed "this is no fly by night outfit"
After explaining my problem they examined the situationI was given a description of the work to be done and a cost estimateGiven the go ahead, they proceeded to complete the repair with parts they had on their truckThey completed the entire repair in about an hour and a halfThe guest bathroom was left clean and you couldn't even tell they were there ...except we now have hot water in the showerI am totally satisfied

*** was so professional and did such a great job on an emergency repair! I will definitely keep their contact on file!

I would give *** eleven stars! we live in the desert where hoarding (oops, I mean CONSERVING!!) water is the most important goal for community health Wood's has been there for me during an exceptionally trying couple of years of dealing with my exceptionally complex water conservation system and *** should get a whole lot of teaching credits for being willing not just to fix it but to explain how it SHOULD work so I'll be better able to deal with it, next time Meanwhile, *** answers the phone with cheerful professionalism that makes everything easier to cope with THANK YOU for being there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*** from Wood's Plumbing was extremely professional and courteous, one of the nicest repair persons we have seen in a long time Knew what he was doing Replaced our hot water heater and installed a new faucet in kitchen

Just had replaced a gallon water heater at my home Water heater was installed by *** ** and *** ** These two gentlemen worked very well together, were very professional and did an excellent job from start to finish including clean up They worked quickly and efficiently and really cared for our home They didn't take short cuts and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly and to my satisfaction Took the time to make sure all my questions were answered Too bad I can't give them an A++ rating! I must mention that we also had a very positive experience with *** who gave us the estimate on the proposed work and with *** who helped arrange the scheduling and payment

*** and *** of Wood's Plumbing re-piped my house They were on-time, on-budget, careful and good communicators I plan to work with them in the future and would recommend them

On Aug10, Wood's representative Donavan answered our service call regarding the replacement of the stop valve for our refrigerator waterAll that was requested was removal of the old stop valve and replace it with a new one, It required sweating off a copper elbow and unscrewing the old valve before replacing the elbow and screwing on a new valveHe wrote up a bloated estimate $including every step involved in removing sheet rock (already removed) turning off water, bleeding air from line (fictitious), remove old box (not required) install new box (not required) turn water back on etcThe bill was, in my opinion, an attempt to inflate a simple job chargeMy wife, the only person at home, rejected the estimate and was charged $for showing upA second opinion from another plumber was $I made the repairs myself in two hours including trips to Home Depot
