party who was the architect for our renovation. On Monday, March **, we were contacted by the third party at the request of [redacted]. This was in response to my call to a couple of the vendors that [redacted] used on our renovation. I was calling them to request the paperwork I need in order to obtain the Certificate of Occupancy for our home. [redacted] stated that he wanted to get us what we need to get the CO. I requested, through the third party, that [redacted] place all the paperwork in our mailbox since he has been paid in full and there is no legitimate reason to withhold it from us. When the third party contacted [redacted] and called us back, we were advised that [redacted] would provide us with all the appropriate paperwork IF we agreed, in writing, to not pursue resolution to the complaints we have made to various agencies. [redacted] also advised us that the vendors would not be providing any paperwork to us since they work for him.We advised the third party that the request made by [redacted] was unreasonable, and highly inappropriate. To try to force us to drop the pursuit of our complaints by using the threat of not providing us with paperwork needed to obtain the CO is an extremely underhanded way of trying to manipulate the situation. After our response, we did not hear anything further. If it is necessary for the Revdex.com to contact the architect directly to obtain a first hand account of the conversation, please call me to obtain the contact information.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: We contracted with,[redacted] of Woodbury Consultants, to do major renovations on our home. His subcontractors have done damage to our property and he refuses to take any responsibility. He has also stopped work on the house before the job is complete. There is a big gap between the foundation and the frame which causes major leaking to the basement. He will not answer our calls and we have to go through a 3rd party for all contact. There are still major items remaining to be completed before the final inspection will pass and we will not be issued a CO and allowed to occupy our residence until that happens. The work started in March of 2014 and, although he has been paid, he is not completing the work. We previously gave him a more than reasonable timeframe that is twice as long as two other contractors have stated the work will take.Desired Settlement: We are asking that the job be complete in a 2 week timeframe, which is the timeframe provided by the other contractors consulted, or a refund of $20,000 be given, which is the cost of finishing the job originally agreed to, as well as recouping damage done to the property.
