At Hillside Carwash we try to make sure every customer experience is a positive one.  We wash vehicles with brushes and machinery and while damages rarely occur, if and when they do we try and remedy the situation to the customer’s satisfaction. In this particular instance we did not feel we...

were at fault for the damage that occurred to the vehicle. When we vacuum your car we open the door and move the seats in a regular fashion as was intended by that vehicle manufacturer. The customer was aware of the preexisting body damage. As seen in the pictures the gas cap door is broken and the sheet metal on the rear driver side door is bend outward in addition to scratches on the paint and moldings. It is reasonable to also assume there was some preexisting damage to the handle considering how close it is in proximity to the damage on the door. We always feel bad when a customer is dissatisfied with the service as in New York customers have many options of car washing establishments to visit and we appreciate the many loyal customers we have, however we don’t feel we did anything to cause the damage that occurred.

I believe this is all false statements because their is know possible way any one can see a damage physically to a door handle  if there was one  I should have been notified before it was touch by any of your employees which one of them admitted to me he did brake it so can u explain that.

We were concerned about the damage that occurred to [redacted]'s van. The vehicle had body damage all around including loose bumpers and deep scratches. When we wash a vehicle we do our best to try and tape up any areas that have damage so that our brushes do not get caught inside. Many times when...

damages occur to a vehicle we repair them. We did not feel the damage was our fault considering how much damage was already on [redacted]'s car prior to him washing it at our facility. We did our best to reattach his previously broken bumper.

I do not accept that response. While it is true that my van had scratches on it that does not excuse your company from exercising due diligence in ensuring that your brushes don't rip off my bumper. If you think you may damage a car you should either tape it up sufficiently (as you usually do) or tell me that you cannot wash my car as you may damage it. I brought my van it to get washed - not damaged.
