Woodland Park, Inc.

May 19th 2015 I sent a letter to the local authorized Woodland Park dealership where I purchased the Woodland Park Model Mobile Home. This letter included pictures of the severe corrosion issue. The letter was forwarded via email to the warranty department at Woodland Park Inc. The warranty manager at Woodland Park Inc. informed the frame manufacturer of the issue and on August 21st 2015 a service person came to inspect and repair the corrosion issue. The service technician completed a very light hand scraping of the rust using a wire brush and sprayed the entire frame with Gravel Guard. I called the manufacturer of this product and they confirmed this product doesn't stop active corrosion and was the wrong product to use for this application. This product will only hide the corrosion issue for a short time. Is has only been 3 weeks and the rust is already coming through the gravel guard. I have written several letters to the Authorized Dealer which have been sent to the Woodland Park Inc. I tried to call and discuss this issue with the Warranty Manager at Woodland Park Inc but he would not talk to me regarding this issue. The frame of the trailer should have been sand blasted to remove the active corrosion, cleaned and a rust inhibitor applied to prevent further corrosion. This trailer was a significant investment over $70,000 and I still have a frame that is rusting reducing the overall life of this unit.
