lien waiver prior to that payment being made. I told them I would give them the lien waiver when they made the payment. I also sent them a photo of my sub-contractors lien waivers, with signatures. I needed to input their address and told them I would give them the originals once we met. I tried to meet with them on 3 separate days and each time they said they couldn’t. The only date they asked me to meet, I explained to them I would not be available. I will not give them a permit to have someone else work and complete work on my permit. That is not acceptable to have anyone else working on my license. We didn’t complete the job by the finish date was because we didn’t start until after the original start date. This was mutually agreed upon. Margie also added several items and changes during the construction process. The bottom line is, I have completed the work and they will not pay. I know they are happy with the work, Margie has said so several times, posted pictures on Facebook about how excited she was and how beautiful the tile work was. I have sent in a Notice of Intent to file a Lien. I have also added late penalties, fees associated with filing and have asked my tiler to do the same.
