Woodland RV Park is located in a mountainous area, our parks slogan is “in the trees by the creek”. Reception of satellite television is limited in our area, especially in our park because of the many large pine trees
Guests of Woodland RV Park are
never guaranteed satellite tv reception, when asked they are told that they are welcome to try. Some guests may receive signals depending on the satellite provider and equipment they have Our park provides 60+ channels of cable television at each of our rv spaces and is included in purchase of a space
Our policy is that we do not give refunds for earlier departures or for the discomforts of nature. This is stated on our website, posted in our office and also stated on the information sheet that is given to each customer at check in.
This particular customer was told they may certainly try to receive satellite tv reception, this customer was even shown and chose a space near another customer who was able to receive a signal prior to payment. Again our park does not provide, guarantee or advertise satellite tv service we only offer many channels of cable television. This customer was told of our cable television and given a list of tv channels on our information sheet at check in.
The customer became disgruntled after not being able to receive satellite tv reception and demanded a refund. The customer was told we do not give refunds as per our policy. Our staff offered to assist them with hooking up to the provided cable television service but they declined by stating they did not want them to touch their vehicle. This customer chose to leave our park. All services that are provided with the purchase of a nightly RV space were operational; electric, water, sewer, cable television and wireless internet service.
The customer’s choice to leave was their own, all services included in purchase were completely available and functioning. As stated above we do not give refunds for early departures and/or the discomforts of nature
