Had all of our windows replaced (30+) and one sliding glass door, in a high end custom home with the top of the line *** window series The salesman came to our house and spend several hours going over the various options, then more time measuring and ordering the windows Since it was November, we asked if the actual installation could be put off until spring, which they agreed too The windows were ordered and *** had an week lead time, not Woodland's fault In early February we were informed all the windows and door had been received and were ready for installation At that time we scheduled installation for the week of March 7, our choice Communication was good leading up to the start of work and very good throughout the week long installation, which was finished in five days, but had originally been scheduled for days The workmanship was great and the crew was very professional

We had two French door windows and one door replaced with one window and sliding doors in our dinette. From beginning to end the communication was great. The doors came a month earlier than expected and were installed without any problems. Courteous, professional installers, excellent sales and measurement people. We were very satisfied with the entire process.

The Woodland team did a terrific job working through the options with me. I ultimately selected the Marvin Infinity full frame replacement as the best option for my job. The job replaced 32 windows across 21 openings. The job included the replacement of the existing casing trim with matching casing trim, sealing the opening, checking for water damage and repair of any damage. The repair of any water damage would cost extra, if encountered.

Be an active and engaged buyer not passive. Do the foot work on the front end, follow up and check the work at the back end. Or you'll be like the one reviewer who just sat around waiting and was dissatisfied.

The Woodland craftsman showed up on a Monday with and additional crew on Thursday. As I work from home I was able to get random samplings of their work styles. What was clear is they focus on maintaining a clean work area, protecting your home and being safe. I also believe the teams have worked together so long that they just know what to do, what adjustments to make without having to talk much.
The Woodland team did exactly what I expected and the results speak for themselves. Having explored many vendors the Woodland team was the right selection. There are three vendors in the metropolitan area presenting a similar approach and methodology to installation, however, one of the vendor’s is questionable and the next one many percentage points more costly.

My recommendation is determine the requirements and results you want from the job, talk to multiple vendors, determine the materials that meet your specification, have the vendors quote the job, select the vendor and make sure the installation team understands your requirements and your expectations. If furniture and other things are in the way have them moved or removed. The installers are craftsmen not movers. Finally, have a cleaning service come in after the job as there will be dust created during the job. Save yourself the hassle and spend the $100 of course this depends on the size of the job.

Woodland did exactly what we discussed and more. They exceeded my expectations. KM

On August 6, 2015 I put down a deposit and signed a contract for a patio door with installation. The installation promised for sometime in October (date not specified at the signing of the contract). Mid-October after not hearing anything since August I called to check on the status of my order. The order department told me I will receive an email shortly about when to expect my installation. The last week of October I called again when I did not receive the promised email. After this phone call I received a call from Phil [redacted]. telling me they do not know what happened to my order. The patio door was never ordered. He gave me three options – cancel order, stay with Woodland and have the installation done sometime between the end of December and mid-January or have Woodland order my patio door through a different company. I have lost complete faith in this company and of course I cancelled my order. How in this day and age an order can just be lost? While Phil was sorry for the inconvenience it does not rectify the situation and I am left without a patio door. I am highly disappointed and want to warn other potential customers so that they are not left in the same predicament.
