Dispute Resolution Team:
I represent Woodlands Financial Services, Inc(“WFSI”) and have been asked to provide their response
to the complaint registered
It should first be noted that WFSI is in the business of purchasing accounts receivable from various vehicle dealers, and
on or about *** *** ***, purchased *** ***’s account from *** *** (“Dealer”)Woodlands is in no manner affiliated with Dealer, and played no role in the sale of the vehicle to *** *** or the distribution of any documentation relative to the initial sale WFSI does, however, have the Payment Protection System (GPS) Agreement for Installation and Disclosure Statement executed on *** ** *** (“Disclosure”)I have enclosed at copy of the Disclosure for your review and that of *** ***. Please note that each of the six paragraphs of the Disclosure bear the initials of *** ***, and four additionally bear the initials of her co-buyerThe language, significant portions of which are printed in capital letters and bold type, very clearly set forth her agreement to the installation of the device and the conditions under which her vehicle may be disabledI would contend that this document more than adequately meets the requirements of Texas law relative to this issue WFSI records indicate that the vehicle in question was disabled on a single occasion at approximately 3:P.Mon *** *** ***At that time only one (1) payment had been made on this account The account was twelve (12) days past due, and a promise made by the co-buyer to pay on *** *** ***, had been brokenThe ignition was enabled the following day after a payment was received WFSI respectfully declines to comply with any aspect of the Desired Settlement as statedIf *** *** indeed elects to contact her lawyer, counsel should be made aware that she also signed an Agreement making arbitration mandatory as to any issue in dispute relative to this transaction. A copy of that document is available upon request.
Sincerely yours,

Re: #[redacted] – [redacted]

To: The Dispute Resolution...

Team

Woodlands Financial Services, Inc. (“Woodlands”) takes very
seriously its efforts to provide exemplary customer service.  [redacted] was indeed an excellent customer,
showing only a half dozen late payments during the course of her loan, none of
which met the threshold for reporting to the credit bureaus.

Notes on her account indicate that [redacted] initiated a
call on July 31, 2014, in which she requested and received approval for making
the two (2) payments the following week after having been “off on maternity
leave”.  The representative with whom she
spoke was a man.

On August 15, 2014, [redacted] again called, this time
indicating that someone from Woodlands had called, spoken rudely to her and
asked about bank information.  Although
there is no record that anyone from Woodlands had made any telephone contact
with [redacted] in that time frame, the representative noted that she extended
apologies and thanked [redacted] for her business.

It appears that [redacted] was indeed unhappy with Woodlands
when she received collection calls after having traded her vehicle during the
last week of August 2014.  Unfortunately,
the dealership accepting the trade-in failed to pay off the account in a timely
manner.  We would hope that [redacted]
can appreciate that the trade of her vehicle did not in any way eliminate her
payment obligation, and that she continued to be responsible for payments
pending our receipt of the balance owing on the account.

Please again extend our apologies to [redacted] for any
rudeness she felt she experienced during her time as a customer of
Woodlands.

Sincerely,

[redacted], Manager

I'm happy that I do not have to worry or deal with the company no longer that was the whole purpose of finding a new dealership that I would receive better customer service in I found that. Now that my car note paid off I know longer want any type of communication with this company in I wish the best for new customers that have to go through or deal with the unprofessional  customer service.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
