In response to the customers statement of problemThere was not an intentional overchargeThis came after the processing of the Insurance claimPolicy in regard to a refund for our facilities an explanation of remittance from the Insurance carrier has to be obtained prior to any refund being
processed or worked upThis was explained to complainantOnce the remittance advice was received from the insurance carrier a refund In the amount of $was written and said refund mailed to patient, However, incorrect address was in data base and when patient came in for additional services there was no mention of new address brought to the facilities attentionNew address was obtained and corrected In data base upon call from complainantI am the women that repeated the address back to the complainant to ensure we had the correct information and this was only repeated onceRefund in the amount of was mailed to the updated addressAll companies have policies and procedures they follow
