Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]The company is making progress on my pool but lack to finish 3 items.
Regards,

To Whom It May Concern:In response to the above complaint, the [redacted]' contracted with us build a pool on 09/13/2014. Excavation began 10/31/14 and pool was completed on 12/21/14.  The pool did cave in due to the weather.  Unfortunately, the shape of their pool in one are was unable to...

be maintained due to the cave in.   This was unavoidable due to the nature of the ground.  However, it isn't a straight line, there is still a slight curve.  The first time the homeowner notified us they didn't like the shape of the pool was on 12/3/14.  They were told it was unavoidable and we were unable to change the shape of the wall.  We did offer to add rocks on the top of the pool to help make that area look more curved.  The [redacted] were dissatisfied with our offer, instead they asked for a water slide.  A waterslide will not hide the shape of the pool, nor is it a reasonable request.  It has been a year since this issue was discussed and they are just now making a complaint to the Revdex.com.  This complaint is unwarranted and invalid.  We can't control the weather, nor could the shape be unavoidable due to ground conditions.  Plus, we offered to install rocks to make the pool appear more curved.  The [redacted]' are making this complaint because we refused to purchase a water slide for their pool.  We respectfully request this complaint be removed from our record.  Sincerely,Tracy [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:In response to the above referenced complaint, Mrs. [redacted] states there is an electrical issue in their program box.  The electrician has been to the [redacted]'s more than once and Mrs. [redacted] didn't keep the scheduled appointments. In fact, the last time our electrician was...

scheduled to meet with Mrs. [redacted], she left and told the electrician that he could go through the house because they had lost the key to the gate.  He knocked on the door and the housekeeper wouldn't answer.  He waiting for about 30 minutes for Mrs. [redacted] to return and she never cam back.  There was a problem with one of the lights, which was replaced by the [redacted].  He also inspected their equipment and found no issues. In regards to her "Cool Deck", we have re-topped her deck twice.  First time because it rained and the topping was spotty, second time was a courtesy.  The [redacted]'s have several animals including dogs, a pot belly pig and a giant tortoise.  The decking topping is chipping due to misuse and isn't a warranty issue. As for the pressure of her filter,  the main reason pressure goes up is because the filter is dirty.  It is up to the homeowner to maintain their pool properly.  Also, the [redacted]'s have a very large pool, 115 perimeter feet with 794 square feet of surface area, depending how long they run their pool and how well it's maintained, could result in a much higher electric bill. Again, it is the homeowner's responsibility to maintain their pool. This complaint is unwarranted due to the fact we have made every attempt to resolve their electrical issue and the [redacted]'s were no show's for appointments.  A defective light was replaced and no issues were found with their equipment.  I've also attached photos of their pool shortly after completion showing the misuse and lack of maintenance. Also, Precision Pools & Spas re-topped the deck once due to a warranty issue and a second time as a courtesy.  We request, this complaint be removed from our record. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me.Respectfully,Tracy S[redacted]Office ManagerPrecision Pools & Spas

To Whom It May Concern:In regards to the above referenced rejection to response, Mr. [redacted] is correct in stating he was told he could choose whichever pump he wanted.  He chose to stay with the pump included with his pool as provided in his contract (see attached).  As previously stated, it wasn't until after the pool was completed that he wanted to choose a different pump, which we agreed to change for $1,400.00.  He declined. In response to his statement that [redacted] with [redacted] and Precision Pools & Spas were unable to give him an affirmative and consistent answer as to which pump he should chose; we gave him all the information regarding all [redacted] pumps. The pump on his contract is the one quoted for his pool.  We are a custom pool builder; we design and quote based on what the homeowner's want.  Products are chosen based on what features, size, etc... are part of the pool design.  If the homeowner chooses/wants anything other that what is designed and/or quoted, it is changed to meet the homeowner's request.  Mr. [redacted] only inquired about pumps, he never requested to change the pump.  Also, he knew the exact pump that was provided with the pool as per his contract.  Again, he asked about the pump while in our office and he was given the information at that time.Mr. [redacted] chose not to upgrade the pump, was aware of the exact pump included in his contract and he was provided with the information he requested.  We built his pool according to the contract and have met our contractual obligation.  We are happy to replace the pump with pump he requested for $1,400.00.  The amount is for the price difference between his current pump and the new pump plus installation.  Therefore, his complaint is unwarranted and should be removed from our record. If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact me at 281-207-9348 or 281-265-2774.Respectfully,Tracy S[redacted]Office ManagerPrecision Pools & Spas

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
Precision Pools & Spas did not supply a [redacted] Variable Speed pump as promised; contract does not specify that the hose should be a VS or SingleSpeed and it is my belief that the company are not honoring what was promised. I reject the request to remove the complaint and if Revdex.com are unable to resolve this dispute. I shall seek legal advice and proceed accordingly.

To Whom It May Concern:In response to the above referenced complaint, per our contract Mr. [redacted] does have a lifetime warranty for the structure of his pool.  There was some miscommunication when Mr. [redacted] first called regarding the cracks; however, they have since been resolved and a work...

order has been placed with the company that installed the [redacted] (structure) for his pool. Unfortunately, this is the busiest time of the year and the company hasn't had an anyone available to go inspect the cracks.  Inspections of this nature are performed accordingly to extent of damage and if the pool is loosing water.  At this time, Mr. [redacted] hasn't stated the pool is loosing an unusual amount of water.  We are in constant communication with the [redacted] company and are hoping to have his inspection scheduled soon.  We feel this complaint in unwarranted due to the fact Precision Pools & Spas is honoring his warranty and if the cracks are structural; they will be repaired.  We ask that this complaint be removed from our record. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me at 281-207-9348 or 281-265-2774.Respectfully,Tracy S[redacted]Office ManagerPrecision Pools & Spas

Complaint Detail / ProblemComplaint Type:Contract IssuesselectProblem:I signed a contract to build a pool for me in June 2015. The contract stated that a t2b (Top to Bottom) cleaning system to clean leaves would be installed. It was not installed as merely normal drains and jets were installed. One of the jets does not work and my yard is staying soft and damp. I have had too many other issues with getting communication from the company to mention. The pool was considered complete at the end of October. It took just short of 5 months to get a pool complete and it's still not built per the contract.TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Finish the JobselectDesired Outcome:Install the correct leaf collection drams and jets and repair the east jet that is not working

In response to this complaint, our General Manager has met with Mr. [redacted] in regards to his issues and Mr. [redacted] is satisfied with outcome and will be removing his complaint. If you have any questions, please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted].Respectfully,Tracy S[redacted]Office...

Better Business Burea/Tracy S[redacted]:It's good to know that you acknowledge and validate our complaints as customers. But I have a few things I would like to point out. First, you say that "leaks aren't always easy to find, and there's a process of elimination that you go through in order to find them." If that were the case, why did the process of "finding the leak" not began until after three weeks? The only time you investigated the source was after you got this complaint through Revdex.com. We did not get any calls from your company letting us know about the plumber not showing up. We were left to wonder if our complaints were even being taken seriously by your company. Also, I don't know how you came up with the idea that the pool was completed as indicated to us. Miss Tracy, I have in my hands right now, the original construction agreement signed by me, Mr. Jonathan [redacted], and your Salesperson/Pool Designer, Todd L[redacted], that clearly indicates that the "Pool is to be completed 40 working days from excavation. It is now 98 working days past excavation. I just wanted to point those things out so that we are clear on things. Like I said, it's good to know you validate our frustrations. But let's be more accurate with the information we let out.Sincerely, [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:In response to the above complaint, a complain about the waterfall was received August 4th, 2015.  A work order to the tile & coping crew was submitted that day and re-submitted 3 more times afterwards.  Unfortunately, it did take longer than anticipated to...

repair the leaking waterfall.   Summer is the busiest time of the year and repairs sometimes take longer to do and repairs.  Repairs are done in order they are received and as quickly as possible.  The [redacted]'s repair wasn't forgotten and we continued to stay in contact with the sub-contractor until the repairs were made.  The waterfall was repaired Sept. 4th. We did follow through with our contractual obligation for product guarantees/warranties.  Therefore, we request this complaint be removed from our record. If you have any questions, please contact me at 281-207-9348 or 281-265-2774.Respectfully,Tracy S[redacted]Office ManagerPrecision Pools & Spas
