Woodside Homes is aware of this customer's current concerns. The home has been inspected several times to ensure his concerns with the home not being built to code are not valid. All concerns have been inspected by the city of Syracuse to meet the current codes. Our customer's
concerns about the temperature of his home is something we are currently working with him on daily. We are on the third round of third party testing to determine is the home has any issues with the HVAC system. At this time the third party has found no significant issues, however, with our customer still not satisfied we have began a third round and continue to keep him in the loop. We hope to continue to work closely with him to resolve any issues if they are found by the third party. The customer has not been ignored in the slightest and will not be in the future. We will continue to work with them on the stated issue of temperature differences and any other concerns they have

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,

Woodside Homes is aware of the concerns this particular customer has. Woodside Homes has made several trips to the home to help remedy the concerns our customer has. We have offered on multiple occasions to add a transfer return to help the stated room with temperature differences.
The customer has refused the work to be done and offered a different solution as they do not prefer to add an additional grill on the wall. Unfortunately, the solution offed by the customer is not possible due to structural beams in the home. Woodside Homes is still happy and willing to take care of the concerns our customer has as soon as they give us permission to perform the work

Woodside has made, and continues to make, several efforts to resolve this customer's concerns. Our ultimate goal is to have happy satisfied customers and we strive daily to achieve that objective. In this instance, Woodside, at its expense, has sent in third party professionals unaffiliated with Woodside on at least two separate occasions to assist us in determining what is happening in this home. Their testing included placing approximately 12 data loggers in the home for the period of a week to see if the complaint this customer has could be measured and therefore remedied. Unfortunately for all involved, the tests indicated that the home was performing properly. Additionally, Woodside reviewed all the information we have on this home regarding passing codes and other energy efficiency tests and found that all was properly documented and the home passes all inspections.  Having that information, Woodside again met with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] to explain the finding and make an additional proposal for a way to resolve this matter to the benefit of the [redacted] family. That proposal is still pending a response from Mr. [redacted]. Until that proposal can be discussed in greater detail and a response can be provided by Mr. [redacted], there is little that Woodside can do. Again, we do not deny that Mr. [redacted] is experiencing something in his home that is making him uncomfortable.  Unfortunately, the repeated sophisticated scientific testing that we have done does not explain what he is complaining of and therefore we have little to go on in formulating other remedies.  Nevertheless, we remain committed to the process and will continue to do all we reasonably can to work with Mr. [redacted] in reaching a resolution to this matter.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I agreed on all contract terms and they advertised quality and energy efficient home, to include integrity, value, and service, We never received this.  We asked them since we moved in that we are having problem with the AC unit and now the heating furnish.  The warranty manager lied to us.  I have to fight hard for them to convince that the poor workmanship of the house, the garage floor, after re-doing it cracked again, We are living on a harsh condition since day one.  We were told that the missing vents and air returns was modified by the HVAC and the proper documentation was submitted to the city and was approved.  This is not the case, the J and D load calculation submitted in the city was totally different from how the HVAC lay out those vents and air returns.  The President assured me on his email that such modification was submitted to the city but it was  not.  I am still under warranty beside from the contract we agreed upon of quality home and they ignored us.  I asked them to certify that there is nothing wrong with the house but they don't want to put it in writing.  Many times I requested if they could just send an HVAC person to try to adjust and balance the system but again they ignored us.  The Hi-EF company they hired to do the test, whose expertise is balancing temperature, 3 times they did the test but cannot even balance the temperature in the house.  I almost sent daily email to the President and the Warranty Manager, including photos to show them how some rooms in the house exceed the set temperature of the thermostat. Set at 69, still running while two rooms are already 76 to 74 degrees.  I included an attachment of some documentation of communication with Woodside.  The house that they build for us is totally different from the HVAC design they show us from the model home, and our house HVAC system is totally different from all the Banyan model in the neighborhood. We are the only house who is missing two air returns and two air vents down stair and one extra vent up stair.  If Woodside did not noticed that the J load plan was not followed by their contractor, what else is missing and was done incorrectly on this house.  From the cracking garage floor, electrical outlet on the surface, AC and heating furnace.  I have some more documentation on files and the last meeting I had with them is not giving me no options and they don't want to fix the problem, they wanted me to sign an agreement without discussing the terms.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
