Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Dear Sirs, I do not feel comfortable with the reply that has been given to me, since I haven't receive any news from the Business since NovIt is only by writing to Revdex.com that [redacted] has reacted since monthsAs mentionner in his email, I did initially refuse a refund because I was still hoping to get my purchaseThe rug of my choice is not more available in store and how can I be sure that a replacement one will be found since we are talking about an antique item? What will happen then? Further more, the item was not a sale Item since there was no price tag on the unique antique rugIt was a price agreed upon the seller in storeWe are talking about a purchase done in August and it is still not solvedBest regards, [redacted] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
The business has responded. Please see below:The rug that was purchased is in fact a Azizal rug, and the one the customer had seen by the customer. When there was a shipping delay, a refund was offered, as the complaint states. The purchaser declined this, and we made shipment of the same rug....
Its is a rather large item at 4.5 ft by 8 ft and has a fair value of $900 USD or more. It was packed for shipping (which was at our expense) into as small of a box as could fit, and it is clear when inspecting the returned package (again posted at our expense) that the rug had never been removed from the box, and only the backing material and one corner inspected. Regardless, we have offered to find a rug fitting the customers needs upon our next trip to Morocco and send it as a replacement. We are unable to extend a refund as this was in fact the intended rug, it was sold at a $300 discount, and we do not offer refunds on sale merchandise, only exchanges, and shipping costs as a result of the refusal were great. We make every attempt to please our customer, and do not take this complaint lightly. However, given the events surrounding this transaction, we have to decline to issue a refund.
