On 10/05/2019, I fully paid $6,608.86 for a 12X24 foot Shed, with loft, one 8 foot door, 3 foot door. The floor was to have extra support to be able to drive, and park a car or compact tractor. The approximate delivery was to be 5-7 weeks. After 9 weeks there was no call for delivery. I contacted the sales rep Patty *** at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Patty told me to call there delivery man Mr. at XXX-XXX-XXXX.After several attempts of calling, I was able to talk with Mr. on 12/06/2019. He informed me that he was way behind, and it would be about another 2 months. I asked for a refund, he said he would call me back. 2 days later Mr. informed me that he would deliver the shed in 2 weeks to have the site clean from snow. The weather was good for the day of the delivery, but he called to cancel stating that he could not deliver due to staffing, and set up the next delivery in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later there was a storm so he did not deliver. Mr. then set up delivery 2 weeks later, but again cancelled stating the weather. It did not snow in my area, and all this time I am cleaning off the pad for the shed, and clearing over 150 yards of snow for the delivery truck to make for easier delivery. Mr. then pushed the date back to late February. On 02/25/2020 My *** called and left a message to inform me that the delivery *** not happen as the company now is Bankrupt.I called my credit card company to in form of the above, and do have a claim in. A friend told me I should also contact the Revdex.com to inform of the above. No one else has contacted me, or left a message about the bankruptcy. I am not sure if I was being led on to believe that the shed was going to be delivered until the Bankruptcy could be put in place. I am not sure if they are still selling sheds from the Newport address. If they did build my shed, are they selling that again? Should I take any other action, please advise Thank for your time.

Other (requires explanation) A refund would be my first choice, but not sure if that would happen now with the the bankruptcy. If they do have my shed built delivery would still be an option, but I would be afraid of the workmanship, or if I would get what I paid for.

I ordered and paid for a building in 2019 from woodtex but never received the building. Now the business appears to be closed and the employees have vanished. No notice of closing or refund of my payment.

I ordered a building from woodtex, payment was funded January 7th 2020. I have had no further contact from Woodtex, they have no phone number to an actual person. I have left messages on their answering service with no reply. My sales persons email is no longer working I'm assuming they no longer work there and she will not return my texts messages or calls. I was never given any paperwork or receipt of order. however they have been paid the deposit and the remainder is currently on hold from my financier. horrible customer service.

I ordered a shed on Sepetmber 13-2019. Woodtex website claims a delivery date within 5-7 weeks ordered date. It is now Febuary 27-2020. 27 weeks later and they done nothing but push my order back stating they are crushed. I believe they are not going to build or deliver the shed ordered and intend to keep the deposit. Please help

I purchased a cabin from this company that had a delayed but final completion of August 2019. My contract states Riverwood warrants that the Home shall be free of all material defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from delivery date. I also have an additional year added to the standard warranty as part of our agreement due to the numerous delays involved in construction (as a precaution on my part). For over two months now I and my son have both been calling them to try and get a leaking window repaired. They sent someone out and this person put some calk around the frame and said he would be back that week to pull the window and correctly reset and seal it. He never showed up and when my son called to complain again, the person on the phone told him to call someone to "fix it" and they (Riverwood Cabins) would reimburse us the cost of the repair. I have since called their number several times without response. Other (requires explanation) RepairI feel it is Riverwood Cabins responsibility honor the contract and their warranty and to reinstall and reseal the window correctly, re-caulk several places along that same wall that are potential avenues of water entry, repair water damage to the inside window sill to include repainting.

Hi,On January 21, 2020, we purchased a modular cabin 25x36 Riverwood Z1 from the company Riverwood Cabins, LLC which rolls up to Wood Tex. We provided a check for 50% down payment in the amount of $54,500. The company deposited the check, but has ceased to communicate with us since 1/27/2020. We were aggressively pressured to put down the 50% deposit on the same day as the visit to our land in order to secure an appliance discount promotion. They have fired the individual we were working with and apparently closed their plant and terminated all employees just a few days after accepting our deposit. On their social media (Facebook), there are many reports of many other customers having money deposited but no cabin delivered and the company not returning calls. No one is answering the phone at the Riverwood Cabins number or at Wood Tex, which they appear to have an affiliation with. They have also not responded to emails. We are devastated. The cabin they were to build for us was to replace our property that burned to the ground last year, so you can imagine how awful it is to now be swindled and not get our dream home built for us. We would like a full refund of our $54,500 deposit and cancellation of the order. We do not wish to do business with this company any longer. My Husband and I bought a cabin from Riverwood Cabins November 2018. We put down the initial deposit of $60,000. With the expected delivery date of 6-9 months. Since then we have received phones calls from the Cabin company asking us if we could bump our delivery date. The last phone we received was in December 2019 asking us when we would like the cabin ready for delivery because they again need to bump our production. We told them we want the delivery for April 2020. The company said that is great we are all set. Now, the NY office has closed and there as been no communication and no way of getting touch with anyone. Riverwood Cabins will not deliver my cabin per the agreed deadline and will not provide me with an updated delivery schedule. On February 8th, 2019 I placed a 50% down payment on a modular cabin and entered into an agreement with Riverwood Cabins, which stated that the cabin would be delivered 7-9 months from the date of the down payment. Throughout the spring/summer I had been given various indications via email and over the phone that the cabin would be delivered prior to the November 8th deadline, as stated in the agreement. On October 16th, 2019 (approx. 3 weeks prior to the delivery deadline) I was notified via telephone that that there would likely be delays, which would push the estimated delivery time out to 'mid-December'. Since then, for approximately the past 2 weeks, I have repeatedly tried contacting Riverwood via email and phone in an attempt to get a firm delivery date. As of today (10/30/19 and only 9 days prior to the agreed delivery date) I cannot get anyone from Riverwood to contact me. Because I was only just notified of this delay 2 weeks ago and was expecting delivery no later than November 8th, my wife and I went under contract with our current home, expecting to be moved in to the new cabin by the time of our closing, late November. This delay will result in additional monthly interest payments, which we've been paying the bank since putting the initial deposit down in February. It appears that we will also now be forced to find temporary living (for an undetermined amount of time) as well as move all of our belongings into storage until the cabin is delivered. This delay will be very costly for us and the lack of communication from Riverwood is frustrating and unprofessional.

Other (requires explanation) First, I'd like Riverwood to contact me with an accurate updated delivery schedule and I'd like them to state the reason for any delay/s, which would put the delivery date beyond the November 8th, 2019 deadline. Next, I'd like them to discount the final payment amount (to be paid at time of delivery) for the amount of actual financial damages that I will have incurred as a direct result of this poorly communicated schedule delay. I will gladly provide recipes/invoices/explanations to Riverw

When we purchased a shed from Woodtex they put a pending authorization on the credit card with Synchrony for 100% of the amount to be financed, but did not remove this authorization when they ran through the transaction in 2 parts 30% down and 70% on completion. This has left a pending authorization on my credit card for several thousand dollars. They will not fix the issue, nor return calls. All calls to their corporate office go to voice mail!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WOODTEX (Himrod, NY)TO ANYONE, FOR ANYTHING, EVER.All of the architectural drawings of my new garage show the structure with horizontal siding but the one they put up has vertical siding. I thought it was supposed to match the drawings. Plus the back doors were not delivered on time. I had to reschedule my electrician. A few weeks after the doors were installed, one of them warped and will not shut all the way and stay latched. Plus they installed the wrong colored shingles on the roof. I emailed them to come and fix it and they have not responded. And the structure, as they built it would not accommodate an electric garage door opener. I called emailed them and asked them if they would come back and make the modifications and they said no. It's 2018...who builds a garage that will not accommodate a garage door opener?

Other (requires explanation) Complete roof tear-off and installation of the right color roof. Replace back door, with one that is not warped. Replace siding with horizontal siding, like all of the architectural drawings show it. Reimburse me for 50% of my purchase price. And admit that they have made egregious business errors.
