Company's response below:From: [redacted] <[redacted]>Date: Fri, Feb 2, 2018 at 5:28 PMSubject: Re: Revdex.comTo: [redacted]>To Whom It Concerns,I have recieved a copy of email containing details of a complaint issued by Mr. [redacted] concerning an...

attempt to purchase a vehicle from our dealership, Woody Folsom [redacted] of [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] contacted our dealership via the internet in order to gain information on a vehicle and the possiblity of purchasing the vehicle through the dealership via financing with any of the banks/lending institutions that we may be able to obtain financing through on his behalf. He willingly submitted his personal information to us over the telephone and gave permission for us to start the process of attempting to gain financing terms for the purchase of a vehicle. At no point did we ever give Mr. [redacted] any type of guarantee, neither written nor expressed, on the ablility to gain financing on his behalf.  We then started our normal process for helping any of our customers obtain financing for the purchase of one our vehicles, and advised Mr. [redacted] that we would need him to come into the store to continue the process of purchasing a vehicle. Mr. [redacted] made us aware that he had had some issues with his credit in the past to the extent of filing for [redacted] in 2017, and that he recieved a discharge from said [redacted] in February 2017. He also informed us that he would be attempting to trade in his current vehicle with us, in the hopes of rolling any negative equity from the trade in to the loan on the new vehicle if possible. Unfortunately, because of the amount of the negative equity, the time proximity of the [redacted] discharge, the unwillingness of Mr. [redacted] behalf to contribute any cash down payment to offset the negative equity, and the Mr. [redacted] inability to obtain a co-buyer with a better credit standing, we were unablity to gain neccessary financing terms for the purchase of the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] stated that we pulled his credit through the dealership muliple times, which is not true. We pulled a credit report from each of the three credit bureau agencies 1 (one) time each, and have proof of this. We did in fact submit Mr. [redacted] credit information to several lending institutions in attempt to gain financing and/or have two or more of the banks compete for better financing terms. This is a common practice to usually works to the advantage of the customer in the form of more competetive terms for financing when we have one or more banks that are willing to offer credit to our customers. Unfortunately as previously stated, none of our captive lenders were willing to offer terms based on the terms Mr. [redacted] set forth for us to work with. We were instructed by multple lenders that for financing to be granted, Mr. [redacted] would need to commit to cash down payment and/or a co-buyer with greater credit worthiness. Neither of which he was willing to commit to.At Woody Folsom [redacted] of [redacted], our [redacted] strive to go to whatever lengths neccessary to ensure that we treat ALL of our customers, whether we earn their business or not, with the most courtesy and respect possible. We advocate on their behalf with the same intensity and frevor as we would for ourselves. We regret that Mr. [redacted] in unhappy about his experience with us, but feel it is based off of a percieved notion that we have to ability to influence any of our banks decision to grant financing terms. We do not, nor do we offer financing by the dealer, i.e. "buy here-pay here". The basis of the complaint that was submitted to you is incorrect and misleading. I have a copy of the email thread exchange between Mr. [redacted] and myself and would be glad to forward it to you if neccessary. Please contact me with any further questions. Thank You for your time.Regards, [redacted]Woody Folsom [redacted]912-537-8278

Company's response below:Date: Mon, Aug 31, 2015 at 4:44 PMSubject: ID # [redacted]To: [redacted]We have received notification from you about a complaint that was submitted to the Revdex.com on 8/27/2015 and assigned the ID of [redacted]. First and foremost, we apologize of...

any inconveniences in this matter. At Woody Folsom [redacted], we strive to make every person who walks into our showroom satisfied with our services whether they purchase from us or not. The vehicle is not in an "ad". It is listed on our website which is where the customer got this information. We very rarely place ads with prices on them because of the many factors that go into a car deal that determine the price of a vehicle. We also have disclaimers at the bottom of every page that has a vehicle listed on our website. Here is a link to a truck on our website (which may or may not be the truck that the customer was looking at but it's around the price)[redacted]. If you scroll to the bottom, you can see that the disclaimer is on there. The disclaimer states:"* MSRP is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the vehicle. It does not include any taxes, fees or other charges. Pricing and availability may vary based on a variety of factors, including options, dealer, specials, fees, and financing qualifications. Consult your dealer for actual price and complete details. Vehicles shown may have optional equipment at additional cost.* The estimated selling price that appears after calculating dealer offers is for informational purposes, only. You may not qualify for the offers, incentives, discounts, or financing. Offers, incentives, discounts, or financing are subject to expiration and other restrictions. See dealer for qualifications and complete details.* Images, prices, and options shown, including vehicle color, trim, options, pricing and other specifications are subject to availability, incentive offerings, current pricing and credit worthiness.* In transit means that vehicles have been built, but have not yet arrived at your dealer. Images shown may not necessarily represent identical vehicles in transit to your dealership. See your dealer for actual price, payments and complete details."It is never our intention to "bait and switch" or to be dishonest. We hope this is understanding of the customer and apologize for any inconveniences. Thanks,[redacted]Woody Folsom Auto Group

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I am rejecting this response because Mr. [redacted]s response is completly false. Mr. [redacted] called my cell phone several times on Saturday Feb 3rd because he felt personally attacked. Mr. [redacted] admitted that he was unaware what [redacted] (the [redacted]) and [redacted] (the [redacted]) had stated on the phone, in text and in person at the dealership. Mr. [redacted] wants to dance around a [redacted], wher emy current score averages [redacted].Mr. [redacted] states I gave them terms to work within, that is also a lie. I was never asked for any downpayment, like most consumers I stated I prefer zero down because I just bought a home and put $13,000.00 down towards that. I never stated that money down was not an option. [redacted], the [redacted] had all my information, my trade information and my payoff. It was agrred that I was $6,000.00 upside down. [redacted] and [redacted] stated they had a truck that could absorb the negative due to rebates and price cuts. Before I went to the dealership it was specificily asked if financing was already good to go, I was given YES as an answer. I arrived to the dealership and [redacted] directed [redacted] (The [redacted]) to take a specific stock number because it was the truck they could reduce and had rebates to cover all the negative. We test drove that truck and an additional truck that [redacted] stated would work. I picked the second the truck and started the paperwork. NOT ONE TIME WAS ASKED FOR MONEY DOWN.  [redacted] called [redacted] to the [redacted] office within minutes and the sent [redacted] back to me and [redacted] stated, "I am sorry man, you should not have even came in, they can not do anything for you". There was no mention of asking for money down or different terms, or even telling me how much they were giving for the trade. [redacted] was asked about them having an approval already, and even he thought an approval was already in place. This complaint is nothing about a "buy here pay here" program. This complaint is not about my credit, which is not bad. Yes, a [redacted] was filed which they were aware of before I got to the dealership, they pulled my credit before my arrival and where fully aware of everything. Mr. [redacted]s response to [redacted] was, "Oh, we didnt see there was [redacted] from 1 year ago". By the way, the [redacted] was 99% [redacted] after a [redacted] and $280,000.00 of [redacted] debts even after [redacted] paid. Only $8,000.00 was personal debts and no previous [redacted]. This complaint is about [redacted] ([redacted]) Mr. [redacted] ([redacted]) and [redacted] ([redacted]) luring people to the dealership under false pretenses. Yes, they lured someone to their dealership by stating, "Financing is good to go", "we have the truck that will work", "we have already pulled credit". This is what Mr. [redacted] seems to be missing. I have asked Mr. [redacted] for what he states is time stamped loan proposals to the banks, I have received several inquires even after I was told nothing could be done. I have asked the dealership to provide copy's of those and he has refused. I have aksed the dealer to remove any all inquires from them from my credit and call every lender and have them do the same, he has refused. During the phone call from Mr. [redacted]s personal cell phone, he has called me a liar, states I am only upset because of my poor credit (not poor at all, jsut approved for $[redacted] home loan) stated that I was given option (no option were given), Mr. [redacted] stated I do not understand [redacted], he was told I was a [redacted] for a [redacted] dealer a while back. He the stated, "Well, you must not have been a good one or you would still be doing it". He was told I chose to go be a [redacted], his response, "Well good for you". Mr. [redacted] is failing to take responsibilty in this matter and admitting his dealership lured a consumer in under false pretense. Thats clear and simple. He did however put the blame on [redacted] by saying maybe the deal should not have been sent back to [redacted].
Regards,
[redacted]
